This was Robbie and Hamish’s second stay and this time for nine nights, Robbie is a 7 year old mini schnauzer and Hamish is a 1 year old cocker spaniel. Lottie is very reassuring and passionate about the dogs. We were very nervous leaving them before their first stay but absolutely no need to be! If anything did go wrong we had full confidence in Lottie that she knew what she was doing and with compassion. They have been so well cared for on both stays. On returning home, they settle straight back in which demonstrates how well they have been looked after, albeit I do think they miss Glassthorpe when they get home!!!! Robbie and Hamish will be looking forward to their next stay when we get it booked! Thank you to Lottie and team!

I’m so glad I found Glassthorpe for my two Chow Chows, after visiting a few “traditional” kennels after our usual and lovely dog carer was away and feeling very disheartened we were recommended to Lottie. I could tell from the detailed information form on the site that they actually really care about your dogs rather than it being just a business. I met with Ellie today who was just lovely and welcoming to both myself and my dogs, both had a lovely settling session where Glassthorpe can assess and make sure they feel they’re comfortable and I got a detailed update when I picked them up. I’m so happy that I’ve found somewhere that I can leave them when we’re away and know they’re safe, happy and will be having a ball!!
We recently entrusted our puppy to Glassthorpe Luxury Dog Hotel for a 17-day stay, and the experience was exceptional. From the initial induction, it was clear just how much Lottie and her team genuinely care for the dogs in their care. Our puppy was warmly welcomed and quickly settled into a spacious, comfortable room.nDuring his stay, he received lots of personalised care, including a couple of play dates with other guests. Since he enjoys some play but mostly prefers quiet times staring out the window, he was closely monitored to ensure he was having fun without being overwhelmed. The team sent regular photos and videos, reassuring us that he was not only safe and happy but also being thoroughly spoiled.nFor anyone seeking top-notch care for their furry family members, we highly recommend Glassthorpe Luxury Dog Hotel. I trust very few people with my two cocker spaniels especially as one of them can be very nervous, lottie is 100% one of those people!nLottie took a great amount of time getting to know Daisy and Cody and I was impressed with how thorough she was with information. This is very reassuring for me!nMy two have stayed numerous times since their opening and always receive the best care and attention, I have no fears when leaving them at Glassthorpe. The facilities and care are 5nI would advise pre planning and making sure you book in as early as you can giving as much notice, as the kennels are very popular and busy times can book quickly! Lottie will bend over backwards to help if she can
