Wonderful one night stay at Glass Island. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sharon who showed us to our gorgeous room and booked our time for breakfast. Oh, the breakfast! Cooked to order and, not only delicious, but beautifully presented loved the overnight oats!. Be sure to stroll around Ballycastle. Glass Island is an easy walk to the beach and several restaurants we had a nice meal at O'Connor's Bar. We highly recommend Glass Island. Sharon and Padraig have every detail covered superbly.
The best stay of our entire trip! The location is great, walkable to everything in Ballycastle and a close drive to coastal gems like Giant's Causeway. The rooms are very well kept, with plenty of 5-star amenities. The included breakfast is made to order and was the best meal of our trip. This is a must stay if you're heading to north coast!
Loved our stay at this beautiful B and B. A quick walk brings you down to the beach and harbor for a lovely stroll. Town is within walking distance, or a quick drive, to shops and restaurants. The accommodations were very comfortable; the breakfast each day was amazing! Sharon’s home is on a quiet street with a large driveway for parking. They work hard to provide exceptional service to each guest and are so welcoming. Enjoyed meeting them and fellow travelers at breakfast each morning. We would definitely stay again if back in that area.
The hosts were amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable. Accommodated our last minute booking no problem. The breakfast was superb. The rooms were clean, modern and super comfortable beds. Location is good, only 1 street off the water, but doesn't have a view of anything really besides parking lot and other houses.
Our travel agent booked 3 nights here for us and we were so glad that she did. Everything about this B & B was perfect, from the large room with en-suite, the beautiful breakfast freshly cooked every day, off street car parking and proximity to the township and not far away from the many attractions in the area. The hosts were excellent and very helpful. I just wished that I had asked for the soda bread receipe, it was so nice. We would certainly recommend this B & B, you will not be disappointed.
