I just left the Royal Infirmary a few hours ago after having my gallbladder removed, and I can’t begin to express how grateful I am to the doctors and nurses that cared for me before, during and after my surgery. I can’t remember everyone’s names but the team was excellent, so kind, gentle and informative. Angie, especially Angie, Isobel and Charlene who were with me for the most part, I can’t thank them enough. Hospital visits aren’t really ever fun, but they made it all so easy and as enjoyable as it could be.
I am currently recuperating in Glasgow Royal Infirmary after undergoing surgery.nI would like to express my heartfelt praise to all the hardworking staff on Level 1 Gynaecology Ward 56.nIn particular today, Taylor, she has gone above and beyond the care of duties by making my recovery as comfortable as possible. Alice has been so caring and patient assisting me having a shower among so many other duties. Also Megan, today was her first day on the ward doing a placement, she has been so kind and made me feel at ease when I was feeling vulnerable. Caitlin has been popping in and out keeping things going. A remarkable team providing the best care to me and the patients around me. Thank you.
I am a week on from having a hysterectomy at the Royal. Dr Fiona Nugent and all her team were amazing. She persevered for 5 and a half hours with keyhole surgery even though I agreed to full op if required due to previous adhesions. Amazing work thank you From start to finish everyone was so personable. In ward 56 for recovery and again a fabulously dedicated and friendly team. Nurses, healthcare assistants, domestic, catering were so friendly and gave a real 'family' feel to the ward. Thank you all for the amazing work you do
I am from Australia and attended Emergency Dept on 8 October and ended up being admitted overnight. I would like to thank all the staff, Doctors, Nurses and others who were so professional, personable and caring. I know ER and coronary care unit are very busy places and staff are under pressure.
