Story

We are a 1940's themed vintage tearoom & Bistro offering fresh home cooked food. We will be offering a full range breakfast selection as well as an extensive lunch menu and sumptuous afternoon teas and specialist coffees. We look forward to seeing down at Gladys. Disabled access.

Just been here on the spur of the moment & were not disappointed, had Sunday lunch such was one of the best I've ever had, all vintage & the music in the background WOW, staff were SUPER & very attentive, dressed in vintage dresses, they looked FAB, great place, great food, brill atmosphere, 10/10

A visit to Seaton is not complete without a visit to the lovely Gladys Cafe , a warm friendly service is guaranteed , fabulous quirky decor,  relaxed ambience ...oh and did I mention the food is delicious !!

Went to this lovely little place on a visit to seaton carew today. A beautiful little gem with lovely staff and lovely meals. We will be definately going back x visit if your through there you won't be disappointed  x

WE visited today and had a lovely surprise, the tea rooms are a real blast from the past, Glen Miller etc playing the ladies dressed in 40's style, excellent food and the memorabilia was fascinating, spotlessly clean and real tea in china cups. PERFIK :

Very bizzy waited ages to get tea fefill, prices are a bit steep
