My daughter and I joined GKR over a year ago thinking we would do a class on a Sunday to improve our fitness. We quickly became hooked and do multiple classes per week. The instructors are fab, the community is great and the value for money is excellent. If you are thinking of getting into karate we 100% recommend GKR!
Fully inclusive, welcoming classes with very knowledgeable, friendly instructors. All ages and abilities are catered for and lifetime friends are there to be made. GKR Karate has a real sense of community and is a safe space for growth and learning at any age. I only started 4 months ago at the age of 52, and mix happily with all classes with some students being as young as 4 - it's inspirational!
GKR is a fantastic club, my oldest daughter 11 yrs now a brown belt has absolutely loved training over the years and is now joined by her sister 7 currently a green belt.nThey have made friends, placed in tournaments and learnt good sportsmanshipnnThank you GKR
Totally awesome place... but I'm a little bit biased.
Myself & my daughter are both enjoying our journey through karate. I am going for my black belt & my daughter is going for her 1st Dan this year. Thankyou to all our instructor's for your training and vast knowledge in our journey, which is straight to the point but also enjoyable. Long may our journeys continue within the GKR Karate family.
