Giuseppe's on the Steps ( formerly known as Marcos) has been owned by Giuseppe Calcagno for 18 years. His Aim over the years has been to bring the freshest, most traditional Italian cooking to Bristol.
Giuseppe's On the Steps was created in 2010 by Giuseppe Calcagno. It was formely known as Marcos which was founded in 1961 by Marco Berni. Giuseppe took over Marcos 18 years ago and is still here!
Giuseppe changed the name in 2010 because he felt it was about time his name was on the window. His aim when he arrived in Bristol 35 years ago was to bring fresh Italian cooking at a reasonable price.
Giuseppe's uses only the freshest ingredients (where possible are locally sourced) to create a real Italian dining experience in the heart of Bristol. The menu is carefully picked by Giuseppe to bring traditional Italian recipes to our customers.
