Giulio's Fish & Chips

We were expecting our usually perfect cod and chips. Three regular cod & chips, more than £21 totally wasted. The fish had been drying out for hours in the hot cabinet and looked suspiciously like the lunchtime batch, re-dipped in batter and refried. It was so dried out that even the cat gave up trying to eat it...

Mediocre fish and chips, definitely had better elsewhere. I found that it was quite expensive compared to other places too. Our mushy peas were cold and the battered sausage was dry. The cod and cod bites were nice, although the batter was a bit soggy. There was also loads of bits of batter at the bottom of the chips, not sure why.

The chips were very small bits rather than full chips. The chips were also hard and chewy as if they were refried from a previous day inedible. Fish was OK.

Anyone that says this is the best chip shop around obviously hasn't tasted real fish and chips. It was terrible and won't be going back there.

Sadly this chippy is getting worse every time I use it, it used to be the best chip shop around, the last two times I have had fish and chips the fish has been really thin and over cooked and the chips have been very dry and bity, also the fish portion sizes have decreased significantly, sad times for a once fantastic chippy

King ribs was one, so rib not ribs which tasted like burned 3 week old pork and over cooked. Cheesy chips with hardly any cheese and tasteless! Fish nothing special! Won't be using again! Had to throw most of it away.

The fish and chip shop is well located as far as I am concerned as it is a very short walk. Prices are not bad and the food is fine, the small place looks clean and well looked after. Look out for a bit of trouble with some people in there. But very good.
