Wonderful location. Great hotel, excellent food. Only thing I would improve is some of the waiters / waitresses could do with training not to lean over customers when putting plates down or serving. This is me being silver service trained in London though. Its one thing you could improve on though. However I was super impressed and will be back
We have just returned from Guisborough Hall Hotel a return visit and as before, the hotel is an oasis of calm throughout. Everything is of the highest standard. Our room was beautifully appointed, with quality fittings, bedlinen and a lovely bathroom with twin wash basins. Sitting areas in the hotel are plentiful with comfortable armchairs and settees for relaxing. The dining room is a lovely experience; great choices at breakfast and beautifully prepared and cooked. Exquisite and imaginative meals are served each evening. Staff throughout are welcoming, warm and helpful. They are, each and every one of them, a credit to the hotel. We look forward to returning.
Excelent hotel in Yorkshire, the people were very good. The owner a lovely chap who plays the piano in the lounge some evenings and on occasions enjoys a chat. The hall has a classic atmosphere about it, all the best parts of the past and refinements of today. A great combination for a good stay. A new favourite for me.Rooms: 5/5
Our favourite place! We visit regularly for afternoon tea, spa days and to stay over. Service is exceptional and we have never had a bad experience. Food is amazing and it is always lovely and clean. Location is stunning and rooms really good sizeRooms: 5/5
Gorgeous location, spacious rooms, tasty food we had dinner and breakfast and friendly staff. We only stayed a night but really enjoyed it. The only negatives are our room was very warm and the bathroom was a little tired. We works definitely stop again.
My partner booked us here for a bit of a relax and treat to ourselves. We booked into the revival and had treatments, along with a drink. We visited the coffee lounge first, I had coffee, my partner had sandwiches and tea. All was extremely good. We look forward to tasting more here. Just a tip, we called ahead for a table to ensure we could get served in time for our treatments. The treatments were worth every penny, with the beauticians being extremely professional and helpful. They made us feel at ease and confident in our treatments. We can't wait to get back and revisit. A perfect relaxing treat.
Service was absolutely terrible. We were left waiting 40 minutes for our afternoon tea which was pre booked in Advanced. People who arrived after us were getting top service and check backs, we did not receive this service. The staff ignored our requests and did not check back on our table. I would like to note we were the only people of colour in at the time. I am absolutely disgusted with this service and expected better from an establishment such as guisborough hall.
An amazing place, warm greeting, friendly and efficient staff, great service. Extensive menu, well presented delicious food. An absolute treat, would love to returnRooms: 5/5
Just had a lovely afternoon tea ,the food was superb, the staff were very efficient and friendly ,the view from the table where we were sat just made the whole experience amazing ,would definitely recommend, ,just a note the afternoon tea was a gift voucher for our golden wedding anniversary ,and is a lovely gift idea for any celebration.
Location and appearance absolutely beautiful. Beautifully clean and pristine interior with professional and very friendly staff to match. Excellent room Woodland Wing. Lovely restaurant and super food. This is what all four star hotels should aspire to. We were extrmely happy with everything and it is a pity we were only here for one night, but, it was worth the visit. Thanks to all the staff for making the stay so memorable.
