Visited Giraffe in Heathrow terminal 5 for breakfast and it wad great. The menu was good and had a good mix of dishes for all including gluten free options. The drinks menu was vast and had smoothies and freshly squeezed juices on offer. Food was well prepared and priced accordingly. The staff member who served us was polite and answered all questions, kudos to him!
We had good timing so short queue. Advised of 20 minute wait for food - food actually arrived very quickly 10 minutes. Environment is pleasant, feels out of the rush. Food for a chain in an airport tastes great. Food presentation is also good. Staff prompt, polite and provide quick service.
We ordered some lunch at this restaurant inside of Heathrow airport but almost everything was quite mediocre. Both the English breakfast and the fish and chips were a bit lacking in flavour. We did however like their green smoothie and the fish was nice and crispy.
Had a nice breakfast tried the gluten free plate. It didn't come with the little tomatoes in the vine like they had pictured on the posters, but it was still pretty decent. The smashed avo was great - very lemony and bright. The bacon on the other hand was rather tough. Cappuccino was pleasant, though not very warm. Servers were kind but also kinda rushed.
I am rating mainly the food here. The service was fantastic everyone is fast, friendly and helpful. However as you can see in my photos the burger is just horrible! Whatever you do do not get a burger. The meat tastes like processed sausage no real meat for sure and the bread is cold and hard. The frites/French fries on the other hand are ok. I will not eat here ever again.
Food is ok. Esp for an airport it’s acceptable. I’m rating a little higher because of that. Other 2/5. The classic burger was not worth 13.5£. The patty was dry and basically fat with some meat. The mango colada was also ok. Nothing to write about. 7.50£ The service was very nice and the burger got served within 10 mins.
Best airport food i have ever had. I dont know why the rating for this place is low because the food is very flavorful. It taste very fresh.
We had a great time.The food was delicious.We liked the fish and chips . I also enjoyed the hot chocolate.The staff is very friendly, the wait time in queue was about 30 minutes the wait for food is around 20 minutes
We had breakfast during a layover at Heathrow. The food was pretty decent, especially compared to some airport restaurants I've dined in. Service was fantastic. Overall it was a very good value.Food: 4/5
I have had a good meal here some years ago. The 2 latest visits were disappointing. Today, the wait to get in was about 5 minutes despite plenty of empty tables. I was waiting to give my order a long time. I started reading the menu to see if maybe I was to order through an app. While ecploring apps, someone showed up and took my order. Only 50% of the menu was available. I got my food, ordered brunch see photo I was disappointed. I asked to pay when the food came. Nobody came. Then I started waving my credit card while trying to get eye contact with some waiter. 3 waiters said they would be right back. They never did. Eventually, I got up to leave. I had a plane to catch. They were used to that, I guess, because a waiter with a credit card reader took my payment as we walked out. I don't think I am coming back.
