Delicious food. Would of awarded 5 stars had the service been friendlier. One young waiter was very nice and efficient, however the other two one being the manager or owner didn't smile once and came across quite rude. Such a shame as the food really was excellent.Food: 5/5
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The seafood salad was super flavorful and served at the perfect temperature with a touch of black pepper added table side and made for the perfect appetizer. The Lobster Spaghetti was also VERY delicious. Wonderful presentation, perfectly seasoned and pasta cooked to perfection, PERFECTLY AL DENTE. The staff was wonderful and attentive. This was a wonderful send off dinner from London with love. I'd certainly visit again when in London!
They give a bread basket and then bill it without telling you before. They made so many mistakes on the bill like adding 4 more desserts to our 2 .Very nice food and great atmosphere all in all. They have in the menu a whole small chicken with mash for £21. House wine is great. For a restaurant near Harrods it’s a pretty good choice.
Absolutely fantastic food and service especially Vito...and the bar man...both superb and went the extra mile! We were a party of 13 and they looked after our birthday celebration beautifully.. even sang us gappy bday with ice cream and candles.. superb!!
Staff were all really friendly and personable. Whilst we can order any kind of pasta for our kid, it would be even better if there is an actual children menu, and options of vegetable sides for him. Good bottled water but it would be nice if it wasn’t nearly £5 for the bottle. Otherwise, pasta is well executed and ambience for dining is cosy. We really enjoyed the outdoor sitting area. No option for high chair and not entirely baby friendly restaurant. Definitely a date night kinda restaurant! Nevertheless, it was still an enjoyable experience.
The place located in Knightsbridge in the small street which makes the place really cute with the open terrace and with very nice food , only bread plate wasn’t so good but the Osta and dessert was really good .
Great restaurant with Italian cuisine. Everything was so tasty! Very polite and welcoming staff! Will definitely visit again.
I have been going here for over fifteen years... every time better than the last.. it has the best pasta dishes in London ... the service is good, stuff friendly and the resto has an amazing vibe.. soul !! Highly recommend it lunch and dinner!!
My husband and I used to go to Giovanni at least once a month. We used to absolutely love it. The food and service were always incredible. Except for one night a few weeks ago when we tried to take our daughter here for dinner in her pram and we were completely humiliated and embarrassed in front of the entire restaurant by one employee he was tall, I’m not sure of his name. I was told it was “not a good idea to bring my baby out on a Friday night to their busy restaurant,” and the employee continued on saying how “inconsiderate and inappropriate” it was to have brought my pram there. However, we had actually just dined at Giovanni’s 6 DAYS prior and brought our pram with us, where we had absolutely no issues. The employee raised their voice and caused an unnecessary commotion in the restaurant, to the point where I was in tears. The good food is not worth the lack of accommodation to a new mum and her child like we experienced. It is clearly not a place wanting to welcome a family friendly atmosphere. Don’t bother bringing your pram in unless you want to be humiliated and judged. No new mum should ever be treated the way I was. We will never be coming back to this restaurant after having been so disrespected.
Highly recommend. Staff is overly helpful and courteous. Food was amazing. It’s a bit fancier than we though glancing at google, usually reservations recommended; we rolled in with 9 people including a 1 year old, 4 year old and adult in wheelchair scooter They bent over backwards to ensure our comfort. No high chairs so they even brought a stack of table cloths to let our 4 year old sit on. Smaller menu but everything tasted great and price was much less than anticipated. Definitely amazing people and authentic Italian cuisine .
