They brag that they have the best pizza in Florence and they are not kidding it was a great pizza. Many of the choices are combinations I've never even thought of but they work perfectly. This is definitely a place you should seek out if you're in Florence for the best pizza they do have one in the center of town but if you're on the outskirts of the city this is also a second location which is outstanding. You may want to try and call ahead and see if you can get a reservation I did not mind standing outside and drinking a couple of beers waiting for my slot to be called and be seated but if you want to make sure that you can arrive and eat immediately call ahead for a reservation.
My only regret is eating here only once. It's hard to get a table before 10pm even during the week without a reservation. We've tried few times but didn't want to wait until 10. I wish we did. Pizza is amazing and people are really nice.
5€ starter is a no-brainer, completely awesome. But, when it came to the main course, I got the wrong pizza for me. There are so many amazing choices and at the last minute I changed my mind, and I regretted it. Should have gone with my instinct. My pizza had way too much tomato sauce for my liking, but ALL the pizzas are just beautiful and it’s obvious to even the untrained eye that the crusts are absolute perfection. I’m definitely going back! And don’t forget the dessert! They’re worth trying too. Super friendly and attentive service.
Absolutely delicious pizza! The dessert was spectacular as well. The best part was our waiter, he was kind to explain the menu in English and accommodate to any dietary restrictions.
Best pizza ever!!!! By far this is the best pizza I ever had. It is such a simple pizza but the taste is just wow, extremly tasty. Totally recommend this place there are 2 locations in Florence and both are extremly good and tasty, you cannot tell any difference between the taste. Of course if you want a fancy restaurant you should go to the one close to the city center but if you want to have a pizza as a local person go to the one that is located in via Francesco veracini.
Amazing traditional neopolitan pizza. You can’t go wrong no matter what pizza you order! I also got the tiramisu which was incredible.
Best pizza I've had in my life. I had a version of cream based Parma which was really amazing! I do think it was called after the Napolitean island of Ischia, from where the staff and pizzaiolo were from. Truth be told, this kind of pizza usually is not my favorite, yet I was stunned, astonished and surprised as I tasted it. My main goal was to know whether a true master at pizza crafting could make me say it's the best pizza I've ever had. Challenge accepted and easily won so far! Thank you kindly for having me to dinner last Summer, it was a wonderful experience and I can see why the place is ranked amongst the 50 best pizza place of the country, which obviously implies of the world. Hats off! PS: the fried starters were also really good, so was the wine and the chocolate dome! Also, your plating dish was really cute and well decorated! Best regards and arrivederci!
Review @ February 2023 In this place, you’ll run out of words and only the taste will justify the efforts of reaching and waiting in the queue. I can’t imagine finding another pizza that’ll beat this one. It’s the “pizza hero” in Florence, so far. Thanks to the quality product.
We were looking to get away from the insane amount of tourists. This place on the outskirts of the city was amazing. Small, local neighborhood spot with fantastic pizza.
Best pizza in firenze. I would recommend it to everyone who visit Firenze.Food: 5/5
