Outstanding cafe located opposite Marylebone station via a less than one minute walk. Far superior to anything inside the station. Very hospitable staff, the lady who I think is the owner remembers customers and their orders and is always smiling and welcoming. All staff work extremely hard to ensure polished surfaces, no dirty plates left behind etc. Standard of cleanliness superb. Food is delicious and a good selection on offer. Definitely worth making the trip across the zebra from the station - you won’t be disappointed. Cafes like this are hard to find and this one is a gem. P.s I have had the privilege to re-visit this wonderful establishment. The jacket potato and baked beans were incredible. The water is also extremely good and very cold. Staff are so nice. Lovely place. Really recommend. In fact if you are in London just once you must come here. P.p.s back again in this great place. They make food so fast eg bacon sandwiches. No one is left waiting they are so quick. Definitely recommend. P.p.p.s the staff work so hard here. Everything is like a well oiled machine. All the lovely customers enjoy their food and beverages. Interesting decor. Good water. very nice food. P.p.p.p.s the fridge is well stocked as you can see from the picture. The sandwiches look very nice as you can see from the picture. There is a lot on the menu as you can see in the picture. You can also see the sign it is a nice orange colour as you can see. There is a shiny mirror on the wall but you don’t want to look in it when you look like me but it is very shiny all the sane and they must polish it a lot. The decor is very interesting indeed. Everybody is so lovely here. They really are. P.multiple.s it’s great in here full of lovely London people. The jacket potato with baked beans is very good.you can sit at the window or on woven chairs. Kids on a school trip. Teachers do such a good job. Not an easy one but they do it well. As Graham at tiffin said you only get one shot with a child’s education.
£8.10 for an egg and bacon sandwich while staff are rude to each other. Compare this to their £9.90 for a Full English breakfast. Greasy, oversalted, overcooked. What a disappointment because they have a perfect little spot right in front of the train station which is great opportunity to earn returning clients.Food: 1/5
Surely a nice place to stop before getting a train at Marylebone station. Super friendly staff, good products, breakfast serve all day with a nice touch of italian warm cuisine. The ambiance is simple but clean and the prices are accordingly. Don’t miss the sandwiches made a la minute based on your taste.
My local cafe. I enjoy popping in for a late breakfast when the early morning and midday rush has died down. It's an unpretentious English breakfast, the type that you could make at home but want someone else to make it for you so you go to Gino's! Thoroughly enjoyable!Food: 5/5
£7 for an egg and bacon sandwich. 1 egg and 1 piece of bacon arrived on untoasted bread. I asked if they could toast the bread - they said - “you should have asked for hot bread if you wanted it”. Another £3.50. At least the chips were decent. First time in 3 decades I’ve had an egg sandwich served on cold bread.
Old style café, full of nice people and so informal that you feel at home. Right next to the station, perfect location when you are looking something quick but good.Food: 4/5
Nice cup of tea opposite Marylebone station while waiting for my train. Way better than the options in the station. The lady that served us was very polite. The guys who work here may care a little less about politeness per the other reviews, and perhaps they could work on this a little but you can see they still give it 110% on food prep and quality which is what ultimately counts! I’ll be back and have no hesitation to bring along with my colleagues and friends if they are travelling with me.
I love this place. Whenever I eat here I am never disappointed. Staff are delightful, food is very tasty. Although the space is quite small it is a very clean establishment. All types of people eat here. Everyone seems to enjoy their food. Conversations overheard are extremely entertaining. Staff are very attentive. If you are ever in Marylebone, do not pass this place. Today I had a salad, it was worth every penny/pound spent!
I love this place. One of the only places in London which make made to order sandwiches which always have fresh ingredients. Good value for money. I try and get here every time I visit Marylebone and just wish they were closer to home so i could visit every day!
I walked in here this afternoon at 4:40pm to hopefully grab something to take out for my train journey, but I was promptly greeted with a rude “We’re closed” by a young white-skinned girl wearing round glasses. I replied: “Closed? At this time of day?” She then grunted the same response: “We’re closed!” There were even two people sat down at a nearby table eating and talking! Even the website states this Coffee bar is open right now. Regardless of whether this place was really closed or not, the girl could not have been any ruder to me. She is clearly in the wrong job as she has no idea how to talk to people. I certainly won’t be returning here again. Absolutely appalling customer service and I doubt the food and drink would be much better…. AVOID
