Extremely excellent meal last night. Celebrating my son’s graduation, we enjoyed some fantastic food and great service. We were a family after a great evening meal, and found it here. Thanks to a terrific waiter sorry can’t remember your name and a very warm welcome, we had a lovely evening. With a wide variety of food ordered, everything was fresh and beautifully cooked. Highly recommend. I am not a restaurant critic, I just had great food at a lovely restaurant.
Not recommended at all. My Dover fish didn’t even taste fresh, putting aside if it tasted good. Lamb is way under seasoned. Other dishes are totally forgettable. Service was horrible. We had to wait for hours to get our food. Sorry but never come back again
Booked Luciano’s for a birthday dinner with family. We noticed that the staff was really cheerful and attentive. The pacing of the meal between courses was great and didn’t feel rushed at all. The starters of carpaccio, beef and salmon tartare, calamari, and bruschetta were really nice. Everything tasted really fresh and a special shout out to the salmon and avocado with dill— just delicious! The bisque in the cod was amazing. The steaks were slightly more rare than we had ordered, but still nice. The lamb was quite underseasoned. The clam pasta really could have had more clams on it. For desserts we had the pannacotta, tiramisu and the cheeseboard. The pannacotta was not exactly to my taste and the amaretto flavour was so overwhelming. The tiramisu was top-notch. The cheeseboard was underwhelming, especially the sheep’s cheese. At the end of our meal the lovely service staff gave us all a shot of limoncello. For 9 people, with about 4 bottles of wine and a few cocktails it came to about £100 a head. Everything was nice, but I do think that we could get a similar experience and meals for a more reasonable price.
What a beautiful experience from start to finish, staff were amazing, food was incredible and the atmosphere was as romantic as I was expecting it to be, we went for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and the kitchen staff took extra time to make our dessert extra special with a wishing message. Steak was cooked medium to perfection and my husband's well done one was still very moist to eat. We took the trio bruschettas as a starter, all were good but the shrimp one was out of this world, made me wish I had more of it. I would highly recommend Luciano's for a special night out in London.
Such a wonderful evening with Gino last night. We’ve been impressed with the food at Luciano’s before but the set menu was unbelievably good. Especially loved the scallops. Also the service was above and beyond, so much attention to detail I can’t thank everyone enough. Gino you are still my favourite Italian chef but now not just in London!
We enjoyed our experience with the service being good especially Matina she was fantastic and very friendly. I was told over the phone the meat was halal but when I got to the restaurant and double checked the kitchen informed them it wasn’t. However, I believe you can pre-order with 48hrs notice. The food was good especially the scallops and the chilli prawns. The lobster was a bit bland it needed more seasoning. The sea bass was very good and the pizzas were a delight. The donuts were absolutely delicious and a great way to end the meal. I have read some reviews here about the toilets but when we went on a Sunday for lunch it was clean. The seats are low so not good for the elderly or people with bad backs. Overall, a good experience.
Amazing meal and excellent service! We went to Luciano by Gino D'Acampo to celebrate our sons graduation. It was amazing service from beginining to end. As soon as we got there they congratulated our son on his graduation. We where served by Gianfranco mainly whom I must say was very attentive and professional at all times. He advised us on food choices if we did not know what to have. He really did go above and beyond which is often lacking when eating out. He was assited by Gianni whom was very attentive and super friendly too! The food was truly amazing. Gianfranco also offered us amazing desserts and coffee. I was truly impressed as they gave my son a dessert with congratulations on written on the plate. It truly was an amazing experience both food and service was excellent. I cannot wait to return!
Food was delicious! Would recommend the lobster linguine and the butternut tortelloni Service started out really well and our drinks and starters arrived. However, we had an incredibly long wait for our main course, maybe 40 minutes, hence the 4 stars. Apart from that, it was a lovely meal and would definitely go back.
Had a divine meal at Luciano last night. Michael our waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable on all aspects of the menu. We intended on having two courses but ended up having three, four if you include the bread course on Michael's recommendation. The styling of the restaurant is exquisite and the ambience was friendly and lively. Would go back in a heart beat.
Ok food a little pricey for what you get. £20 for 2 pieces of scallops as a starter. Not traditional taste. Too much oil and too much sour taste in burrata salad. The place is nice decorated and clean. The service is good and the food looks pretty. I don’t mind the price but it’s just not the right taste for me.
