I booked the taxi for 23.15 on a saturday night to pick up from the central. The train arrival from London into Newcastle was delayed by 15 mins and they refused to wait therefore leaving myself and my wife to wait.over half an hour for a pick up which raised the price considerably as it was past midnight. UNRELIABLE!!!
Absolutely rubbish you ring up most of the time never hardly no answer ans when you do speak to someone eventually and you try and book a taxi and they always say no matter when you ring nothing available at that time. Makes no odds short or long distance they obviously don't care for customers they do what suits them. The person I'm trying to help is disabled always the same thing no matter when you ring.
Used Gilmore for taxi to and from the airport. Fabulous service. Turned up when expected and delivered to the airport and home again safely. Thanks. Will definitely use again.
Great service from the taxis themselves but the woman on the phone was rude and impatient. I work in a care home and I've never been spoken to like that before. She just hung up the phone after I asked questions, and acted like it was our fault we couldn't see the taxi.. but the taxi man never came to the door considering I was with a resident and couldn't exsactly make her wait out side int he cold. Very disappointed in the experience.
Most unreliable taxi service in this area. No regard for their customers and very rude. Would definitely recommend any OTHER taxi service.
Asked for a taxi . . Didn't turn up. .. When I rang asking where it was some absolute troll on the phone had such an attitude on her that I said 'no need for the attitude I'm just asking where my taxi is' and she hung up.. Absolute waste of space. Useless taxi firm. Stay away from it and the poor excuse of a human being working the phones.

A well established firm and for good reason......they're always spot on time and very friendly too!

If I could I would give - 9999999999 unhelpful cheeky total joke of a taxi firm I put money this time next year GILMORES will not be running
