Welcome to Gilbies Bar & Bistro. Since 1988 our family run bar & bistro has been serving Hereford the finest bistro food, wine & continental beers.

Our bistro style bar and restaurant continually changes to suit your needs or moods

Early morning coffee : Freshly brewed espresso or cappuccino.
Light snacks or business lunches : Catering for every taste.
Afternoon tea : With a pastry or hot buttered toast.
On the way home Happy hour: Excellent value.

A good clean place to go for a chat and a fantastic hot chocolate and a small Greek salad just enough
A great place to go for a lager. If you enjoy savouring your evening this may be right up your alley, as there is a nice long wait for the drinks. I took my partner, Emmanuél and we shared a long snog in the foyer, much to the delight of the regular punters.
Really nice bistro hidden just off the main run in Hereford. Food was really tasty, not too expensive and a good choice of drinks. Sitting outside under the trees on a summer's day is well worth it. Would like to see a children's menu added if possible.

Had lovely tapas here the other week and main menu was lovely too..thought the bread and olive portion very small tho
O/K about sums this place up. Not great service, just adequate. Seats were uncomfortable after a few hours, but on enquiring they did find some cushions. Meal was mediocre...nothing to complain about, but conversely nothing to praise.

Nice place. Secluded courtyard off the Main Street in Hereford, and pleasant indoor space, with local art on the walls. Good choice of drinks and imaginative menu with some classics and a range of tapas.
