Giggling Squid's food was delicious! If I lived closer, I'd eat there again. Food was very well presented as well. The mussels starter was my favourite. The atmosphere was really great. It felt warm and welcoming. The lighting was bright and the decorations were festive. The only letdown was how they handled our large group order, although I understand how tricky it is to deal with big parties. We had a group of 14 and we ordered in advance. Even so, one of the festive starters was no longer available, but no one bothered to tell us until we questioned why it never arrived. They did offer us an alternative after we flagged the issue, and the service other than this was brilliant. The staff were helpful and accommodating.
Nice and quiet as it was lunchtime midweek. Good service, food came out quickly and tasted good. Was not shown the lunch menu until I specifically asked but otherwise great. Salt and pepper squid was particularly good.Recommended dishesPad Thai
Honestly my favourite restaurant ever. I love this place, the service is always great and the food is sensational. Would recommend the money bags and the royal fishing boat curry as my tops faves!
Quality of food was ok, but chilies in a dish that's supposed to be non spicy is a no go, Service was friendly, but this place had the filthiest Windows ever, looked like it wasn't cleaned in months, table was sticky and had such deep groove that I can't even imagine how that was meant to be kept clean. Had a constantly annoying fly. This place ruined the chain for us we are actively avoiding it now.
I love this Thai restaurant! The tapas set let me to enjoy different foods in one plate. Curry and chicken wing are very tasty, highly recommended!
So here is my review of this place. 1. Service was 7/10 they made two mistake and we had 3 différents waitress so confinsing 2. Decorations was 8/10 it was nice but couple of art Decorations could be better 3. Food was 9/10 the food and drink was very good 4. Cleanest was 8/10 it was clean but the toilets smell bad could have done better nothing worst then eating and having thar good taste in your mouth for after taking it away because of the smell in toilet 5. Ambiance was 8/10 it had a good Ambiance Will comeback and do recommend it. Look at the pictures
Another Giggling Squid, and the same efficient service and delicious food. There is a lot of space and is nice and bright. The toilets are ok. Located centre of the high street.
A really lovely clean and refreshing place to eat! I left feeling good about my food choice!
Not busy on a Friday at 1.15. Great, tasty Thai based food. Venue chosen as their gluten free offering is very good. No parking adjacent, but plenty in walking distance. Paid £64 for two courses for two ppl each, plus a soft drink each. Recommended.
First time here, the misses loves a Giggling squid. Really good meal and atmosphere. Also a good Mad Squirrel pale aleFood: 5/5
