Boys love it. Clean around, amazing service, freshly prepared hot meals. Really tasty.
We have been going to George's for our Friday fish n chips for 20 years or more now. Cannot recommend highly enough. Beautifully cooked, crisp n tasty batter. The staff are so quick and friendly. George cannot do enough for you to ensure you have the best meal. It's especially easy now that you can order and pay online before collecting. Plenty of other choices too and weekly specials to choose from. Superb always.
Best fish and chips around. Mine and my husband’s favourite place to go. Generous portions of cod and chips, very fresh and tasty. Love the curry sauce too. We’ve moved away from Bourne and really miss the food here. Definitely will get fish and chips from George’s when we visit next.
Yet again the poor customer service lets this place down. Such a shame as the food is pretty good despite it being left on the counter for ten minutes whilst the staff stand around chatting. I'm sure it would have been nicer if it was hot.Food: 3/5
Came in tonight and purchase this week's special smokey stack burger and must say it was one of the best burger I've ever had and would suggest thinking of keeping on the menu
Had Fish chips and gravy with an oasis drink on Wednesday 17th Aug 2022 and it was definitely delicious, fish tasted so nice and the batter was to my liking with a crunch and you could feel the bubbles in the batter, supreme. The chips were soft with a slight crunch on the outside "perfect" and gravy was lovely too. All in all fabulous as usual for George's and always the staff are great. Well done . Keep it up x Had another great experience at George's Thursday 9th March. Great fish, light fluffy and crispy batter and very tasty fish. The chips were very tasty too, crisp on outside and fluffy inside with gravy on as I always like gravy with the combo. I go here once a month and George's never disappoints, friendly staff and always willing to help. Nice seating area if you want to sit in which is very clean and tidy. Best fish and chips around for miles in my opinion

Excellent,hmmmmm. 17/12/22 . Visited again , it is now our very favourite chipotle anywhere. It is 13 miles away from us but would walk if we had to. Wife had scampi chips and salad and I had cod chips and mushy peas. Everything from the sweet flaky cod to the large scampi was freshly prepared and cooked . The cutlery came in sealed bags and the tables were spotless. Can’t recommend highly enough. The staff are so polite ,friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Ordered at the counter,tables clean,got a bag sealed with knife and fork,handwipe and paper serviette,not long before our meal was ready fish and chips,chicken burger salad with chips drinks from machines ordered at counter,chips hot,very hot but good no chip bits,tomatoe sauce,burger good,fish,tail end crippy batter, not sure if the fish was this week's or last,hard,inner but Solved that with plenty of vinegar,the chips made up for the Size of the plate,in all good!
