Landlord really friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Nice roast dinner and a great pint of London Pride. Large Gin menu as well.
Went in looking for a quick meal, great vibe soon as you enter. Could tell it was a good place by how busy it was. Great food and recommendations definitely worth a try.

Sign outside says great food and I agree. Service was great and meal came in under ten minutes. I had a prawn sandwich, and the prawns spilled onto the plate. The burgers others ordered were really good as well. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. A really great meal for a reasonable price.
You cannot fault staff they are sooo friendly and informative of town AND offerings really nice and sell the most amazing flavoured gins try the grapefruit one
It was quite busy when we went but as the weather was beautiful qe decided to take a seat outside. The burgers were fantastic, so juicy and meaty not a bit of gristle. The staff were very friendly and inviting. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it.
Proper local place, very quick food service, great fry-up and has the sports on if that's your thing
