Great variety of equipment, excellent customer service.
Please note, I would rate as 0 stars of I could. This review is from an issue many years ago, however it still bugs me, and I believe I ought to warn others who may consider buying from this outfit. During my outside catering days and entering the film location catering market, I bought a new bespoke outside catering unit from Butler's of Randalstown. I needed a substantial amount of specialised equipment and visited geoff rodgers catering equipment. geoff attended to me himself, and I bought a number of new and used items from him. One item in particular was a used 6 ring gas range/oven. It was just the size and style I was looking for but was in pretty mucky state when I viewed it, however geoff assured me that he would have it immaculate for me. Cost was £550. So a day before I was to collect, I had to call to see PJ from nearby Butler's, so called on the off chance it may be ready. I walked into their warehouse to see 2 lads scrubbing the range all over. I asked them what they were using and they said caustic soda as it removed all the dirt & grease with ease. So thinking nothing of it knowing that it wasn't ready, I came back the following day being the agreed collection day. The range was ready and certainly was immaculate. Along with my other items I loaded up and had booked in with a Ballymena firm to be fitted. Finally I was ready to go. My maiden catering contract was working on the feature film, being a 5 week shoot in various locations throughout the Isle of Man. Cooking lunch on the first morning, we smelt gas. My chef and I checked the gas bottle fittings and other areas, but couldn't work out where it was coming from. Feeling very nervous about we continued our search, and discovered gas was leaking from the pipes at the rear of this range. I immediately shut it down, called out a local technician who informed me that there was multiple leaks from the copper pipes. He showed me where the pipes had burned through and reckoned acid had been applied to them. I remembered that geoff rodgers guys had been cleaning the entire range with caustic soda, and when I told the gas technician he confirmed that it was a very dangerous method of cleaning copper pipes, but yes this was the result. I had to at great expense pay for local caterers to provide the film crew with hot meals that dayat a cost of almost £1000, and had called geoff rodgers several times, but was told he was busy. Eventually through persistence I got speaking with Geoff, who was most unhelpful and denied that his lads used caustic soda to clean the unit. This was baloney, as a couple of months later I did revisit his premises, and spoke to one of the lads in question who confirmed that rodgers instructed him to clean it with caustic soda. Well I got nowhere with rogers, and found him most unpleasant, and offered zero help or compensation. At my own cost, I had to pay to have a side wall of my mobile kitchen removed in order to have a new range installed. This time I bought from a reputable seller, who had heard of previous encounters regarding 'less than favourable' after sales with these idiots. BEWARE !!
Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Brilliant company, friendly staff and quality new & used catering equipment and stainless steel sinks and tables I saw in person at the big showroom. I took full advantage of the Hi Buy finance options - couldn't be happier, thank you!
This outfit has a wide range of fantastic equipment and the sales guy was really helpful from day one. The HI BUY finance option is a game changer - I bought 6 items and could split payments over 9 months which was extremely handy. Would recommend!
