We were a party of 7, who loved our first time at this restaurant. It was a Saturday night, so the place was jam packed & very noisy, which meant our food did take quite a while to arrive, but it was understandable. The bill for 7 starters & 6 mains, came to just over £150. This amount was minus the drinks, as we got them ourselves from the bar. Fantastic night, with tasty, good quality food. Loved it....... Vegetarian options: Personally, I think the restaurant needs to add a few more Vegetarian dishes to their menu. What they have is great, but a few more creative dishes, could be added to make the selection better.
Lovely selection of meals which are very delicious. I enjoyed the Bosco, chicken, tomato and onion. I like that you can choose the pasta you want. The service was prompt and it didn't take long for the meals to arrive. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. I have been coming to this restaurant for a while now and the meal quality has never changed. Food is always lovely and potion sizes are perfect, not to large and not too small.
Easy to book a table via their website, situated within walking distance from a choice of car parks St Mary's is free after 6! at the top of CLS near the hospital. Staff were friendly from arrival to departure. Food was well presented, decent sized portions and all for good value. I had the carbonara pasta penne, you get a choice which was one of the nicest I've had, followed by a brownie for dessert the dessert menu is on a small chalk board, which came with ice cream and went down very well... It's a nice sized, clean & tidy restaurant with comfortable seats. Won't hesitate to come back here!
Ordered 2 takeaway dinners at short notice. Staff informed us they'd be ready on arrival 15 minutes later. True to their word. The food was excellent, couldn't fault any item. Tasty and plentiful. Only fault was no gravy. Luckily we checked before departure and the staff brought us 2 full cartons. The restaurant was full which we didn't expect a few weeks before xmas. Atmosphere was superb, loads of families which shows how well the staff and restaurant are doing. We'll done and thanks for a tremendous meal.
Lunchtime set menu is a bargain. We had 2 courses for 2 people with an alcoholic drink each for £23. The food was well presented and very tasty. I asked for changes to be made to the starter and it was no problem. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back.
We have visited here many times since it opened. I previously left a review with a higher score. However, after my recent visit things have changed dramatically and not for the best when we visited the place was not very busy at all. However, the service was very poor. We had to ask at least three times for cutlery. We ordered drinks and then again had to ask where our drinks were. When the food came there were items missing from one of the meals. Again, we had to ask at least a couple of times. The food itself was quite poor. I personally had pizza which was ok but I must say now I am done with those wooden boards that they are presented on with Greaseproof paper that you end up eating with your pizza. It was a gimmick at first. However, I think you now need to move on to using plates as a party of four. We were all disappointed and agreed that it would be some time if ever at all that we revisit. Sorry but this is my honest opinion.

We booked a table for 14 for Sunday lunch for our Nana's 96th Birthday. We pre ordered our meals. On arrival staff were readily available to seat us and take drinks orders which were served quickly. Food arrived shortly after, to a good standard and we were regularly checked to see if all was ok or if we needed anything. They brought out a cake and one of the staff was excellent, singing happy birthday and genuinely made my Nanas day the best! From the second we entered until leaving the building they were great, and the price was very reasonable for what we had and how special they made the day. Highly recommended. We have also had the odd takeout which has been spot on every time
Went at happy hour for daughter's birthday. Lovely food, excellent service with friendly staff.Food: 5/5
