This is our second experience with Gelbergs and especially Russell, we bought and sold a property using their services. Russell is very professional, very quick in responding and has answers for every query. Nothing is too much for him. The entire experience was a pleasure.

Came to this firm to update my will. At first they were on point, responding immediately to emails, and sending out paperwork. Then, after the initial meeting, I was told it might take a while to draft the will. It's almost a year now, and despite emails, calls and one promise of getting back to me, I'm still waiting. I've gone back to my previous solicitors who have drafted my will within 2 weeks. My advice would be to avoid this firm at all costs.

Russell was excellent for our house purchase, including share of freehold. Always responded quickly to emails and kept me up to date on latest developments. Would highly recommend and use again. Thank you.

I've just sold a property with Chirag for the second time. Both times went smoothly. Chirag was always available when I had a question he doesn't count the hours like other solicitors I've used in the past, always prepared and helped work through complications when they occurred. I will continue to use Chirag on property transactions as he's friendly, reliable and knows his stuff.

These guys have the best conveyancing team in London. We have used them twice and both times we have been superbly looked after. It's so reassuring to have prompt replies usually in minutes when our experience with other firms can take DAYS. Looking forward to using them again as it's a relief to have such a fantastic contact for our Legal needs.

Although we decided not to proceed with the property auction for which we asked Chirag Thakrar to quote for producing a legal pack for an auction sale, we were really impressed with the detailed explanation of what would be involved and itemisation of costs he provided us with. This in fact helped with the decision not to attempt to sell through auction at this time.

If good admin is an essential qualification for a firm of solicitors, I'd steer clear of Gelbergs.  Anyone can make mistakes, but it's how you deal with them.  This lot are fully signed up to the 'it weren't me' approach.  Make an appointment.  Less than a day later, the person who makes it denies ever having set eyes on you.  Or if they did, the appointment 'wasn't put in the calendar' etc etc.  Bit of a problem if you're trusting them with essential bits of paper...  Which I certainly won't be doing.  One to avoid.

In 20 years I have used the house convancy services of this group of solicitors.  They have quoted a good price & stuck to it. Been deligent & honest in their dealings.
