Exceptional, managed to get a table for lunch, service was excellent. We ordered from the set menu and no complaints. The carpaccio was fresh and full flavoured. The watermelon salad equally vibrant. The rump steak was absolutely perfect. The hale was a surprisingly good choice. And the Pretty Gorgeous Rose was a perfect pairing.
Good steak but what a wait. Came here for an early dinner and it was nice as we were able to sit outside overlooking the river. We ordered steak and sides however the service was really slow. The steaks were brought out and then the sides came 10 minutes later after 2 prompts as opposed to all coming out together. Would like to see an improvement here.
Meat prepared perfectly, very juicy and lots of flavour. Burger was filling however pork dish portion was a bit too small. Will come back to eat steaks. Service is very good, waitress/es are very knowledgable. Peaceful location by the river with nice views.
The steak was amazing! Definitely one of the best steakhouses in London! Nicely cook to exactly how we wanted it. We ordered Rib Eye and Sirloin steak. Great customer service too. However, the fries were over cooked, it was too dry.
Great Argentina steak house. Good quality steak in a cozy restaurant. Could get noisy when it is crowded. Server was attentive and humorous. Average 100 pounds per person.
It was an excellent experience having dinner @ Gaucho Richmond, me and my hubby really enjoyed it. Both of us came around 10:30 p.m. and the restaurant will be closed by 10 p.m; but they let us in. We came to London from Toronto Canada. The food that we ordered was Chateaubriand as main course and Chocolate Torte for our dessert. Everything was perfect . Thanks to Yulanda waitress, Dali Chef sorry if I was misspelled his name. The service was an outstanding . Highly recommended to all of you.
An Argentinian steak restaurant located on the Richmond riverside with seating inside and on a terrace. Gets very busy so suggest booking a table. Apart from offering a selection of steaks of various sizes, other choices include fish, pork and chicken. I had the grilled whole sea bass and it was totally cooked to perfection and delicious. My friend had a ribeye steak which was juicy although the firecracker chimichuri might have been a little spicier. The desserts were gorgeous and well worth ordering. The chocolate torte was a rich, chocolatey dessert with ice cream, Kahlua and biscuit and was outstanding. The table service was excellent and the server will offer to explain every cut of meat on offer. The one disappointment is that the mains do not come with anything. When my fish arrived, it was obviously missing accompaniment. You are thus compelled to order veg which should be on the plate in the first place. If this is a common practice in steak restaurants, then ignore this comment. The sides are small and hardly worth writing home about. The fries are thin and don't match the food; chunky would. The table green salad was a few leaves of lettuce and the odd chunk of avocado. This doesn't put me off from returning to Gaucho's because it is a great restaurant in a great spot staffed by people who know what they are doing. That sea bass really was exceptional.
We went there for Sunday roast, and the experience was nice. Cuz we had two buggies, they tried their best to arrange the space, which was really thoughtful. The food was beyond expectations too, staff were also pretty approachable. I could say this is one of the kids friendly restaurants for Sunday roast! RECOMMEND!
My 1st time at Gaucho, taken there for a valentines meal. Staff are amazingly friendly, atmosphere inside the restaurant is great, food is top notch I had the sirloin steak and girlfriend had the rib-eye, both cooked to perfection. The freshly baked chocolate chip cookie to share that we had for pudding is worth the visit all by itself
Our bill was $320 for 2 adults and 1 teenager and we left pretty disappointed. The service was awkward and the food was ok, nothing memorable, mostly dry and unflavored. It was also VERY hot inside despite being cool outside. It's sad because we were really trying to find a great dinner for a special occasion. There are many great steakhouses in London and regrettably this isn't one of them.
