Wonderful place to lay my head as a weary traveler. Staff were very accommodating and allowed me to check in a bit earlier. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Parking on site was a nice bonus. Highly recommended!
Very disappointed. After flying for 24 hours all I wanted was a hot shower. Water cold, lukewarm at best. Girl in reception wasn't so friendly and seemed uninterested. took a shower next morning also cold no staff present . WiFi didn't work so took hours to finally check in, made me anxious. Bus information at reception is incorrect luckily I left earlier to go to bus stop as bus timetable completely different to what was in reception. Didn't feel like a BnB, more like a hostel as no staff at night or in the morning. Wouldn't return . I'm sure their are better options
Had a booking for which I tried to arrange transport to and from the guest house. Two reception staff, who later I found out were covering for someone who was sick, insisted, one of them rudely, that GTFH does not offer this service when there is a separate page on the website just about it. Was told a manager would call me back to discuss this, no one did. Eventually I called again, and was told that the service is on offer and there is a bus facility. I tried to give feedback specifically about these two people at reception and that next time the GTFH needs to use cover staff they need to fully inform them about the existence of the transport service, but the guy was just not listening. So awful customer service, unpleasant experience, and not interested in going there anymore.
It is a good option if you have to travel the next day. The airport is only 20 minutes away by bus and it is close to places where there is good food. and for me it was not very expensive
Cozy stay at this family-run guest house. The service was lovely and the owners were kind and attentive. Excellent location from Gatwick airport, right in front of the bus stop. Direct buses to and from the airport every 15-20 mins. Thank you!
