I come to gathurst golf club to play military whist with upholland u3a. The only complaint I have is we have to pay £1 for a drink which I think is a bit steep. I

We went to a friends wedding reception here and we were in the large room. We sat near the doors which i was glad of as it was a warm evening plus we were near the dance floor. We had a great night and the staff were lovely, great views as well. My friend went and loved it and has decided to book it for her husbands 60th UPDATED. went on 12th jan for my friends husbands 60th we had a great night but the drinks arent cheap, forgot to put that on my last review. nearly £9 for a double pink gin & 2 small bottles of fever tree elderflower gin, the Guinness was also £3 and it was out of a tin. The food was good, but i dont think it was worth £7.50 a head plus £1.50 to have some chips with the buffet, you can't even bring in your own catering.

A very friendly golf club, welcomes new members of all abilities, a busy social callender and senior section. The greens are undergoing a lot of work at the moment so not at the best but still a great place to play golf.
