Nice quiet atmosphere was great for doing home tutoring with just myself and the teacher taught me superbly well and I would like to thank him so much sincerely for how hard he taught me and the way he caught me up with my work after missing half a year of education however unfortunately I won’t be able to do my GCSES this year due to my health but he deserves so much credit better to have just one teacher than mainstream but the library is nice calm place people can go to relax read chat focus choose different books

Very peaceful and quiet for studying or doing your other computer work or reading. Staff are very cheerful and helpful. Resources are always updated.

Fantastic library love the story time and rhyme time for my little one so friendly and lovely light space :

Library it’s self is good cafe on the other hand is awful spent over £20 and couldn’t eat any as the bread was mouldy on a sandwich that was served to my 1 year old put me right off won’t be going into the cafe again

Amazing resource with extensive archives of local history as well as all you would expect of any library. Staff extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Rolling art exhibitions, a cafe and gift shop make this a perfect place to regularly visit to while away the hours.

I visited for the first time at the end of September 2022 and joined the library.  All the staff were extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming.  I was delighted by the excellent selection of fiction, landscape, and local history books.  A truly excellent library in every sense of the word.

I was really impressed with the facilities and the range of books. A very relaxing, calm and welcoming environment and helpful and friendly staff
