Slightly out of Louth centre, one of the few remaining pubs still lit by some gas lights. One-room bar serving real ales. Wooden floors, open fire in Winter. Cosy. Dog-friendly.

We went to Louth to visit family and quite by chance stumbled on this pub on Friday evening a couple of weeks ago, what a joy! Fantastic place with an event on, the locals couldn't have made us more welcome, delicious food from the mobile kitchen and a duo of guitar and fiddle providing amazing entertainment and just made the night. It would have been worth the trip for the fun evening alone. With the pub trade struggling it was great to find a pub doing so well and we would love to see the musical duo again, just amazing! Another terrific Pint at "Our Local". Such a warm, friendly place. Proper Beer. Proper atmosphere, proper prices! Dogs are SO very welcome too.
One of the best micro brewery's I have been to! Louise and Jason who run it are not only very knowledgable about the brewing process but are truly passionate about the end result too! As well as providing excellent ales and some select lagers, all dogs are made to feel welcome and well behaved owners are invited to enjoy the various snacks and beverages that are available behind the bar! Not only are we looking forward to the various events that the gas lamp are putting on in 2022, including a beer and cider festival but I have heard on the grape vine that on select events and dates there will be fresh hot food available! Exciting!
Lovely little pub tucked away down a side street. Friendly staff, very accommodating to our dogs and the many others in there. Great local beers, plenty of parking and authentic Gas Lighting! A definite Gem of a proper pub.
