One of my favourite places, I kept coming here many, many times in the past 6-7 years! I really like the place and if it could improve, in my opinion, better coffee will be one thing and them aluminium seats and tables don’t belong to that place, visually and comfort wise! For me it feels like a segregated place where you move in the nature, in the past and life slows down a bit, gives you a breather!

Pre packed sandwiches without use by date. When I asked the staff when it was made they didn't have a clue. Environmental health where are you?????!!!

Good food and not too expensive.Good choice of jacket potato fillings,toasted sandwich or salad , soups.all very nice.Good cakes too.Very pleasent tea room.Dogs allowed too,which makes a change.

Lovely location in a walled garden by a lake - let down by consistently grumpy staff. A smile doesn't cost anything 😬
