A hidden gem! Great garden centre full of usual plants, seeds, garden accessories, gifts and seasonal items. We went with the intention of popping to the restaurant and they had a hot drink and cake, after 3pm, for £5 deal, which we took advantage of. Very happy they did a chai tea latte, which was delicious I noted they did a cold version too - something to try in summer The cake was excellent too and the restaurant staff very pleasant and helpful. Good menu with good range of food options including kids, veggie and a separate dog menu too. I noted there was an indoor soft play area separate admission charge Prices throughout seemed reasonable and lots of special offers. A place I would definitely return to with family.
Lunch was lovely. Have bought from you before & been both pleased & surprised at quality & value. This time however was a little disappointing. Your Autumn collection was very mixed. Would have liked one of your wreaths but at £55 couldn't really justify. Better luck next time.
Not a comment on the Garden Centre itself, but the Pumpkin Woods Walk. Whilst it's not bad, compared to last year it didn't seem quite as good, with less exhibits & effort made - with an excess of Skeletons used to pad things out. Perhaps it was also due to having done it last year and we can't remember having to pay then, either. The toasted Marshmallows facility wasn't being operated, though you could ask for someone, as was the case with the Halloween dome attraction. It wasn't the weekend but it still was half term. Also the pumpkins to purchase were placed on the floor of the wood to rot & get dirty, rather than purchase inside. Perhaps if it had been our first time we would have appreciated it more, but otherwise definitely less impressive this time round. On that basis it is still maybe worth a punt for 1st timers, but probably best at the weekend.
Took advantage of a cheap soft play ticket on a school day. Great idea for my daughter to attend a busy soft play but without the dangers that school age children bring . The whole place was clean and there’s a nice balance of activities inside. Had a pizza to eat while we were there which was tasty but considering it was for a child I’d probably want a little less sauce on it to reduce the mess.
I recently visited Garden King Center and was impressed by their half-price sale. Despite the discounts, the plants are lush, green, and healthy. The roses, including the David Austin varieties, are particularly fabulous. It's a great opportunity to get high-quality plants at unbeatable prices. Highly recommended!
Amazing! We drove from Hednesford after finding it online. We absolutely love seeing christmas set ups! The garden centre is very deceiving as it goes on for ages and they have some great offers on too! We also came for the soft play which is immaculate, the cleanest place we’ve ever been to with the most welcoming staff too. Thank you, we’ll be back!
Best dog friendly garden centre we've ever been to! The restaurant is super dog friendly with their own doggy menu, there's a free dog outdoor play area, the staff are friendly and go out of their way for people and dogs. The plants are high quality and the dinosaur trail was fun! Highly recommend!
You don't need green fingers to shop here! There's something for everyone, even the dog! Lots of plants, ornaments and gifts and then a bite to eat in the on-site restaurant maybe? Helpful staff and many bargains to be had.
Another wonderful visit, our pup enjoying his second pupacchino in the cafe before watching the reindeer. Once again delighted at the wonderfully helpful and friendly staff as we chose our tree for Christmas. So glad to have something this great pretty much on our doorstep
Garden King is absolutely fab.. we take our nearly 6month old puppy a couple times a week including the socialising days so she can interact with other people and other dogs. The staff throughout are all so lovely but the staff in the restaurant are amazing! It's a bit pricey but the food is lovely so it's worth it. I love that the place is so dog friendly, being a huge dog lover I'm in my element whenever I'm there! Overall its a lovely environment to be in and the staff are wonderful! Well done Garden King!
