Have used i constantly since buying a new house.I find the choice amazing prices good and staff very helpful.

Has to have one of the most unhelpful members of staff in the store. Despite asking for help and advice the old man behind the desk had the rudest of attitudes who was more interested in getting off for his lunch rather than assisting . One act of going the extra mile could have kept a customer happy but this member of staff has no skills in customer service. Will shop with a tradesman next time.

A huge well stocked shop with everything from nails and screws to home furnishings , shoes,  handbags , dishes ,ornaments as well as everything for the budding do it yourself addict. The staff are friendly and very helpful in all aspects of the shop . I Would highly recommend a visit .

I was looking for a Christmas tree for my parents home. Assistants were blethering away not offering help. I had to ask. The tree I wanted only had the display left. I asked if I could have a discount. The assistant wasn’t happy and said that wasn’t the shop didn’t do that even though the tree had been on display from mid October which in effect if you use a tree for two weeks a year is almost three years old. I said I’d just leave it. She couldn’t have cared. I was brought up in Stranraer and always loved this shop. This will be the last Christmas I’ll spend in my parents house. It’s a shame she had this attitude. I’ll be going to Heathhall garden centre in Dumfries on my way home to Edinburgh where the service is always superb.

Very expensive some older staff dont have very nice attitudes  A year after the above review thought I would try this shop again.... Big mistake manager still abrasive and shop still very expensive last time I go

Dreadful customer service, especially the younger man. Sullen, ignorant and unhelpful. Need a course in customer service skills.
