Big plate Tuesday was pretty good. Excellent value for money and portions were huge. Pub was very quiet when we went in around 20:30 seemed we were the last ones in. Imagine it's much busier on the weekends. All in all pretty good for budget meals. Plus it has a kids area too!

We eat here around once a month.. never had a bad meal let... not always perfect but never bad... Cant go wrong for the price. Staff are normally friendly and helpful

Went here again to give the benefit of doubt. Cutlery came out in a dirty glass jar and ground in food on the forks. I complained about this (no-one want to eat with dirty cutlery) and the lady came out with a clay pot with cutlery in....... to my horror, I tool the cutlery out, tipped the pot upside down and stale crumbs and hard peas came out of it. Absolutely disgusting!! How difficult is it to have staff trained in the most basic food hygiene.
