A well equipped community hub and fitness centre. Well equipped gym, sports hall, etc. Also, Cinema, live stage performances and meeting rooms for events. Excellent facilities.
Overall, it was very good. Lots of facilities here for all the community.nThe volunteers and staff are very helpful.nI booked to see Riverdance. I thought this was a local group performing live, so I didn't mind paying £ 16. I had read the advert wrong. When I got there, I discovered I had paid £ 16 to see a film, which I really thought was a bit steep for a local establishment. I paid quite a bit less in Manchester to see a film.nAnyway I really enjoyed watching it and it turned out to be a lovely evening.nThere were drinks at the bar before the start and during the interval. Very pleasant staff, but once again, the prices were fairly high. But all said and done, this has not put me off attending future events.
What a wonderful venue. Just spent the week performing in the fabulous theatre/ entertainment centre with The Blue Light Theatre Company. The facilities are excellent and we were looked after so well by all the staff and volunteers. Definitely recommend whether hiring or visiting!
Yesterday Galtres hosted an event in a marquee for 150 people. We came from far and wide. The Galtres team were friendly and competent, the food great and parking so convenient. Thank you!
We went to see a play. The venue is impressive for such a small town. The play was entertaining. The staff helpful. A good place to go
