Don't waste your time, used to be great, now sadly very poor. Last night mine were dripping in grease, the chips were undercooked , the tiny fish were overcooked and dry, the curry sauce could be used to lay bricks. The service although pleasant enough is soooo slow, factor in 30 mins because you'll need it, this is no quick tea. Oh and finally the prices are astronomical - do youselves a favour and pop to Hornsea or Brid. Such a pity this has been allowed to slide like this.
Chips was ok but not happy that I was charged 30p more than the advertised price. When I queried this I was told it was because I had paid by card, there was mention of this before I paid. They have said they will put a sign up. Only 30p I know, but wrong to charge without warning
Had food from here a couple of times in the last few weeks . Really tasty, freshly cooked food to order . Very enjoyable, would recommend!
Rude staff. Halfway through telling my order, which was quite large, another member of staff interrupted to ask again what my order was, so I carried on telling them. Then it was my fault when they didn't cook all of my order, despite having told them my whole order. They got quite rude. Maybe don't interrupt next time, as I know for a fact I gave you my whole order. I could hear them talking as I was leaving, still being rude, despite the fact I was still polite, left me visibly shaking. Awful place.
Had fish and chips , much cheaper than the site chips cooked in dripping batter tasty but fish slightly over cooked but it didn’t ruin it , would recommend over the site
The most amazing fish and chips 8 have ever tasted! Bettered sausage also was a first for me and it was glorious!! Highly recommend.
Tasteless. And not very good. Size of the fish is good. But fish stew is amazingly disgusting and chips is tasteless. :
shame you can't rate 0 stars, we visited here last saturday night as a large group after calling ahead to make sure they were okay with 19+ orders. we ended up leaving with no food as the owner there was incredibly rude and spoke to one of the children with us in such a way that I can only describe as disgusting. zero customer service here. food wasn't even that nice either.
Worst meal I have had from a takeaway for a while. Chips were dry no taste sausage no taste. Queued for over an hour for them very disappointed will not return.
this rip off chip shop has a captive cliental via caravan parks if not it would not have any trade. so when I sent my daughters to get two bags of chips . when they arrived back at our caravan we were disgusted to find their were not enough chips to make four chip buttes . this cost us £4. that will buy half a sack of potatoes . so why rip us off. £4 worth of chips dose not amount to much at the galleon. we will never go again and have told all at the caravan park not to use and travel to whightheads in hornsea you do at least get some chip for your money there
