No mess, no hassle I ordered Roman Blinds from Galaxy. The service has been great from start to finish. Neil came out to measure almost straight away and the blinds were ready really quick. The two young chaps that fitted the blinds were polite and efficient. No mess, no hassle. The blinds are really good quality and they look lovely. Our first Galaxy Blind Experience, recommended by a friend having had an eye watering quote from a bespoke competitor for 16 day night blinds and 2 roller blinds, sent them our chosen fabric spec which they confirmed they could get, and then Neil came and measured each window, confirmed a few details, cassette options, handing of control chains etc, and later that day we received a quotation which was 1/3rd of the cost from one of their competitors. I spoke to Dennis the owner, and I confirmed the order, paid my 50% deposit and 5 weeks later, a call from Laura in the office called me with a query, on roller blind material, which was sorted in 5 mins, and she arranged a fitting date. A very courteous and humorous young man, Lee arrived, put on his overshoes, and off he went like a well oiled machine, what a brilliant job he made of installation, and even bought a new drill bit for our porcelain bathroom tiles ‍. Our whole Galaxy Blinds experience has been absolutely fantastic, from Dennis the owner, Neil the surveyor, the communication from Laura and the other girls in the office, and finally Lee the fitter, well done to everyone, we couldn’t have had a more pleasing experience and would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone. FANTASTIC! Local service from the people at Galaxy Blinds, we are very pleased with ours. We have only got a selection of our windows done for now, but will 100% be using their service again. They keep all of our your measurements on file which will make for a speedy transaction in the future, which is helpful. Had a great selection to choose from along with friendly quote experience. Great price with the option with regards to payment, that was handy. Quick and experienced installation from the fitters. I’d highly recommend Galaxy Blind to family and friends. Always nice to support a local business.
The reason for a 5 star rating is that although there were unforeseen problems they were dealt with very professionally. We now have good quality well fitted Galaxy blinds throughout the house. I am very happy with the result and will be using Galaxy Blinds in the future.
Great service. Rang the office on Monday to check if they could measure for a set of patio vertical blinds. Very nice bloke measured & priced up on Wednesday & the blinds were fitted within 5 minutes on Friday. Great price & highly recommended. Will recommend to others & very happy to buy from Galaxy blinds again in future.
Not the greatest buying experience I've had,customer service is their biggest flaw.After damaging my laminate flooring while cutting to size! there was no apology or offer of compensation only when we pushed for discount off the next order did we get any satisfaction.I'm overall not satisfied with the installation of the blinds for example the strings seem to long when using them the larger blinds don't close fully when we reported this and they came to inspect he said it was because they were large!!!! certainly not happy with this company,would I recommend Galaxy? definitely not,buy somewhere else.
Our new plantation shutters are fantastic. Well fitted. No mess.Great addition to our home.
