Terrible experience.nWe purchased an 18m x 9m modular marquee, costing more than £8000 for our Rugby & Cricket Club.nOn the day of delivery, the driver told us that we'd have to handball the entire order off of the truck. This was over 1000kg in weight, it should have been taken off using a pump truck.nThat weekend we got to work on building the marquee. The instructions sent by the sales manager were garbage. There was not way to determine which bolts go in which holes. We wasted hours this was being done on a Sunday when no one was there to talk to as we are all volunteers with full time jobs.nEvery single on of the metal wires that are used to tighten the side curtains broke and had to be replaced which they sorted quickly and without issue.nThe overall quality is awful, 3 of the side panels look like they have been coloured in with tip ex.nI have been liaising with the customer service manager, who again, has been very apologetic and polite. But today made us an offer of £75 worth of Gala points as a goodwill gesture for the issues we'd had. This is an insult. I wanted to give them the time to make a decent offer to put this right. I hate leaving 1 star reviews, but I am bitterly disappointed.nWe made this purchase hoping the modular system would be easy to use, and give us a great space. The service has been polite, but poor, I would NOT recommend making a purchase of this size and investment from Gala. You will only be disappointed.
I've been using the same Garla Marquis for over 15 years for our scout group, we have three. They are built to last and it's easy to buy spares and replacement parts.nWe had one damaged in the high winds a few weeks ago and the Gala support team gave us good advice on the replacement canvas and poles I needed.nThese were delivered very quickly
Having several gazebos through my lifetime this one is amazing. With hexagon poles for strength and a thick canopy. I will not be purchasing any other brand. A few messages and they created what I needed no stress no hassle. Quality of the signage was vibrant also fast delivery for when I needed it. Easy to assemble.5
I needed a new canopy for my 3m x 4.5m Shade Pro gazebo as the original had a bad rip caused by a falling branch in the recent high winds. I emailed Gala Tents at 10:30 am, had a telephone call back from them within the hour, paid for a new canopy on-line and received the new canopy by 10:00 the following day - outstanding service! Thank you Gala Tents.
Can not fault Gala Tent, so impressed with my 6x3 gazebo that I’ve bought another one. Every single person I’ve spoken to at Gala Tent have been full of knowledge about their products and always polite and easy to talk to. Good value for your money too, I had mine up in 25mph winds and she didn’t move an inch she was anchored down good and proper which obviously is a must. Excellent frame and extremely tough material for the canopy and sides.nI would recommend Gala Tent to anyone and everyone, good to see there are still 5 star companies trading.
