Old Manor house. See how King Henry lived and the costumes he wore along with his many wives! Demos of types of food the Tudors ate (some of it surprising!) The inner workings of the Manor are also on show, very interesting for kids too. Be warned though, we went in March, and it was bitterly cold inside the Manor. Wrap the kids up warm. Good idea, do the ground floor first, into the excellent cafe for hot chocolate, tea, coffee, sandwiches etc. Then do the upper floor.

Unexpectedly impressive building inside. Great advice from local stuff. Tea rooms. Nice view from the roof. Recommend to visit especially if you are interested in Tudors

A beautiful manor house built around the 15th Century. An extensive building with lots of interesting rooms, furniture & paintings. There are extensive grounds for picnics in the spring/summer time. The facilities are toilets, gift shop & excellent cafe. There is no car parking but is available within ten minutes walk.

Beautiful manor house set in the centre of Gainsborough. Audio tour is a must , but you can get round in over a hour. But still worth a visit if your ever passing. Lovely cafe too :)

Our group had a wonderful afternoon. Our guide Jan was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. After we had toured the building we enjoyed afternoon tea in the tea room . Delicious . And the scones were still warm . A perfect afternoon out . Highly recommend
