Good location, for shops, restaurants and public transport. Also very close to Gatwick airport. The hotel has recently been refurbished and received a very nice revamp. However the showers are a bit finicky and may take time to get to the right temperature. Room noise is a big problem, as walls and doors are so thin one can hear everything happening in the corridor and the nearby rooms, which means everyone coming will wake you up.
Good location if you travel to or from Gatwick airport, the 24/7 bus to the airport is just a minute from the lodge. It was clean, the rooms and beds are very small though and bed was uncomfortable.
It's still undergoing refurbishment so the car park is a bit of a mess and a bit boggy. But I'm sure it will be very nice when it's finished. Rooms are modern and clean. No breakfast as most who stay there are off to the airport Gatwick quite early. Not far from the high street if you want something to eat if staying for the evening.
The location is excellent for the airport - 5 mins away and wandering into town for dinner.nThe B&B is OK. We only paid £50 a night for a double room.nThey were great and facilitated a takeaway by setting us a table in the conservatory.nWould I book again when flying from Gatwick - absolutely.
