Perfect for a quick coffee on the go. Great espresso. Great coffee. Staff aren’t the friendliest and they didn’t have many dairy free/lactose free options the few times we stopped by. Location in the village makes it great for a quick pass-by.
Great fast service, team very happy and efficient. Love oat flat white! Keep up amazing work Food: 5/5
Stopped in to grab a bite for breakfast. There is a wide assortment of pastries to choose from as well as a couple of prepared items. We tried the baked eggs and the ham and cheese croissant with two chai lattes. Everything was delicious! They had several different loads of bread that could be sold while or sliced. A great place to stop in anytime of day!
I asked for a heated butternut slice to have in when ordering they served it to me and i took a bite they then said no they don't warm food up!!!! I would NEVER have ordered it then!!!. They didn't apologise for serving something cold that i specifically asked to be heated up. Bad service and rude. Looks nice but ice cold and not delicious at all
Such a nice little bakery. The food looked and tasted amazing. I had a blueberry and custard danish which was delicious. There was a very good range of bakery items on sale. But the service was pretty diabolical. First I ordered 2 scones with jam and cream, and was only charged for and given one. Not a huge thing, but does mean the customer is not being listened to fully and it meant a second card payment. Second these scones didn't come with butter so they then charged another 30p per scone when I asked for it. Again not huge, but I have never been given a scone without butter before anywhere, and certainly never been charged for butter! It also meant a third card payment. Then we waited 15 minutes for the coffee to be brought to our table, to find they were in takeaway cups. I asked for proper cups as we were sitting in and eating, and those took another 8 minutes to get. It meant a nice catch up, became a series of card payments and asking again for what we wanted. Not great.
You have to get there early for a loaf of the delicious focaccia - it’s the best! Shame the store is so small, the queue is outside of the door on weekends so I usually avoid. Hard to even squeeze around in the store.
Good chai latte despite there was no cinnamon on top. The cakes are tasty. The staff is not very welcoming though.Food: 5/5
Lovely pastrys, I enjoy their popular cinnamon buns, and they seem to have some breakfast options, too. It has a fairly small seating section with a bit more seating stairsFood: 5/5
good food but pretty expensive. there is some seating inside but usually full so it is better for takeaway. if u want to eat in then a different cafe in wimbledon is probably better. nice cookies and pastries. chai lattes are very nice too. and some cold drinks are also available like lemonade etcFood: 5/5
Gail’s located on the busy commercial street of Wimbledon village. A very lovely and residential area. The pastries available have a good variety. The coffee is not extraordinary. Space inside is very limited. Although a few tables are available, the tables are very cramped together - not much individual space. Price is fair. 3 pastries work out around £8.
