We enjoyed a lovely weeks holiday at the site. Nice pitches which are kept immaculate. Very quiet site which was to our liking. The shower/toilet blocks were always clean and well maintained the showers are great and very powerful. Big thank you to Billy who was a great help. Not only did he lend us his hammer as we’d forgotten ours, he also drove down to the main road to make sure another caravan didn’t meet us head on as we were leaving as we’d left slightly late!! Thanks again, will be back again soon
Had a very pleasant couple of days at this site in July and were extremely grateful to Billy for helping me to pitch in the rather inclement weather at the time. The fully serviced pitch was welcome although unfortunately I didn't have a long enough cable to use the TV socket and normal TV reception was non-existent. Facilities were very clean if a little bit dated but hot water was plentiful. The area is excellent for visiting local sites and is quiet.
Great campsite, hidden away. Very clean and tidy. Toilets and showers and very well maintained/cleaned. Good dog walking field and somewhere to kick a football about too. The Highland cattle in the field next door were great to sit n watch.
Fabulous site, very clean and quiet, full service pitches excellent value. Shower block spotless, plenty of hot water from good showers. On site dog walk is secure and a good size for plenty of exercise. Billy the warden was very welcoming and made sure we were ok. We’ll definitely go again.
Just returned from a short stay here. Site is beautifully clean. Warden Billy aided by Ruby the lab is excellent and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Good location and great central location for touring. Loved it. Will be back.
We spent 8 nights here and it was the absolute best! We had a great time visiting other places around and about, we could have easily stayed another 8 nights. The warden, Billy was very helpful and friendly and we loved our chats with him. The facilities and grounds are kept in top tip condition , so thank you Billy for a wonderful stay. This will definitely be our ‘go to’ when we are in need of peace and adventure.
It was a pleasure finding and overnighting at this well manicured camp ground, the only one to date we have found with electric, water and cable TV at each site. Thank you Billy for your help with the water and for loaning us a TV cable. The best campground we visited on our UK trip.
Great little site, very quiet in gorgeous countryside. Good WiFi, services on pitches were absolutely fine for us better than expected. One even better if? It would be helpful to know more about local walks lengths/times on the site to try and help you navigate if you’re only staying a few days. Would certainly come back.
Just spent a long weekend here which we really enjoyed. Lovely clean facilities and peaceful at night. Billy was a really helpful and friendly warden. Great location for visiting the area. Football pitch was a bonus.
Quiet 3 night stay at this immaculately maintained campsite. All facilities spotless. Billie the caretaker very helpful and friendly even escorted us down the single track road so we didnt meet anyone coming up. We will definitely be returning hoping Billie will be there.
