Sadly our latest experience wasn't great. They now only take cash, not card, and as the local cashpoint wasn't working we had to drive to get cash. We explained this when we went in to collect the order we'd phoned it in. When I returned and paid we then got told that they had run out of one of our items and we'd have a 10 minute wait for it. By the time this was all ready, it was 30 minutes after our original collection slot. When we got home with the food 10 minutes later it was barely warm. This is not usually the case and it therefore appears the food had not been kept warm properly. We had a timescale to adhere to for later and therefore returning the food was not an option. All had to be reheated in microwave, not great for the amount of money spent. Sadly will be a long time before we return.
Didn't expect a indian restaurant on this village and yes the food was good but still the rice seems to be frozen one and they reheat it. So i would recommend for roti or nan which they make fresh and nice.

Gabi's was absolutely fantastic! Went there for the first time after seeing it was the closest Indian to where my folks live. We placed our order in person then went for a short walk round the picturesque village of Avoch. 20 minutes later our food was ready for collection. Starters of poppadoms, onion bahji's and chicken and veg pakora were great, tasting very fresh and soaking up the various tastes of the pickle tray well. Main courses were the chicken Rogan Josh, prawn dhansak and dopiaza. Again everything was so fresh and well cooked it was lovely. You could tell from the fact you could identify individual ingredients that this wasn't made from some sort of generic base sauce and that a lot of effort had gone in. We chose three different rice's and none of them disappointed with good chunks of veg and mushroom clearly visible. The garlic and peshwari naan breads were also very good. Overall we were very impressed, we'll be back and highly recommend this place!
First time trying this while up here on holiday. We had mixed starters, chicken tikka masala, lamb jalfresi, Chanda masala and garlic naan. The starters were fine, chicken pakora was the best of them. Chicken tikka masala was good so they were the highs. The lows were the hatred I far too greasy as was the garlic naan it was dripping with the butter and was stodgy not nice at all. So half and half for our experience.
Local curry spot! Really tasty and good food. Sometimes the ordering over phone can go wrong as my partner is vegan and we recieved a chicken curry! Quickly resolved by staff after a quick call and no hassle
Just had a Chicken Butter Curry. Way too much salt. 2 mouthfuls then put into the bin. Too much salt, that you couldn't taste the chicken let alone the sauce. Very disappointed as normally meals are exceptional. Would have called to complain. But... now closed for night.
Excellent Indian Takeaway - Highly recommended. All dishes of very high quality and very good portion sizes
Stopped off on way through in motorhome. Was absolutely delicious, definitely recommend. Garlic Nan was biggest I’ve ever had and super good!
Quite nice food, but asked for mushroom rice but was told they had none left it was 17:30 just opened on a Wednesday. Found this strange. Quite expensive so would be good if they put in some popadoms and salad as a complimentary side
