Hugely grateful to the team at G Gibbs Funeral Directors. They were professional, kind and made a very difficult situation easier for me when I buried my father in June 2024. From first contact through to the funeral I had full support. Jodie was my main point of contact and she really is a credit to G Gibbs and the team, and I cannot thank her enough.

Our family will forever remember the care, compassion, kindness and understanding that we received from Pam and the entire team at G. Gibbs following the passing of our wonderful mom. Right from the initial point of contact to making the final arrangements, and even being part of the all-female funeral cortege, the support that we received from Pam was truly exceptional. We will never be able to thank her enough for her empathy and for the dignity that was shown to our mom under the care of G. Gibbs, and for the comfort and peace that we felt as a family knowing that mom was so well cared for. Debbie was our Funeral Director for the service and was equally as incredible. The entire funeral cortege were wearing purple ties and matching accessories. This was not a family request, but Pam arranged this after we mentioned that purple was a favourite colour of moms. Her mindfulness was outstanding throughout. We send Pam and everyone at G. Gibbs a heartfelt debt of gratitude for everything that they have done for us as a family and for the support that they showed us at such a difficult time in our lives.
I can't thank G Gibbs enough for all the support that you gave to me during what was an incredibly difficult time. Your whole team offered assistance whenever I needed it and it was nice to have a designated person who I could turn to when I had any questions. Debbie offered a shoulder and a listening ear when it was needed and I felt that not only did you offer a professional service but also a personal one too. Both myself and my children were happy with the service provided not only on the day of their fathers funeral but throughout. So once again thank you to G Gibbs for everything that you do.
Highly recommend G Gibbs, excellent customer service from start to finish. Jodie was an excellent listener and was respectful and understanding when helping us to plan the service. The service for my grandad was beautiful and exactly what we described to the team.
I really cannot rate Gibbs highly enough. Having never arranged a funeral before, i simply dreaded arranging Mums. I called to make some tentative enquiries and without noticing, it was all arranged and booked. Debbie was so lovely and helpful, she made the process completely painless. Everything was handled so respectfully and with genuine care and attention. Everything went perfectlyz on the day of my mums funeral, exactly as we wanted. Thank you all for such support and professionalism during such a difficult time.
My family have used Gibbs for many, many years so, when my Mom passed away recently there was no hesitation on where to go. From collecting her body to the funeral itself, the care and compassion shown by all members of staff was exemplary. Even during these testing times, where everything is dealt with over the phone, we were able to have a face to face meeting at their offices. With all the COVID practices they had in place we felt safe, and never at risk. I would highly recommend Gibbs as your loved ones would be in safe and caring hands.

Gibbs provide an excellent service from start to finish. Nothing is too much trouble and they kept me informed of everything each step of the way. I mainly dealt with Karen who made me feel at ease, she's friendly, caring and kind. I would recommend Gibbs 100 per cent.
