If I could leave zero stars for a review I would. Terrible customer service and generally rude and awkward to deal with. The company still owe me money and I will be reporting them to trading standards. If Carlsberg did timber merchants Collis’ definitely wouldn’t be them! Seriously, my advice would be to use a different company. They really were awful from start to finish

Good quality and value and fully prepared to follow up their work when its needed (a garden gate swollen in heavy winter rain). Over the course of a year we have had a shed then all of the fences from this company and we would have no hesitation in using them again or in recommending them. When we went to ask about the door a customer was talking about a repair to the roof of a shed supplied by the company 70 years ago!

Awful customer service - they presume that the customer is the expert, and they ‘don’t have time to go over the small details’ that then make a significant impact on cost for the customer. Very disappointed- especially when trying to support local businesses.

Have used Collis for years I've always found the staff helpful and pleased to give advise to a typical DIY type person and still gives good value for money compared with larger superstores. Keeping it local, pleased to use them.

Just about the best place for your hardware stuff plus wood offcuts (you dont get that at B&Q!). Can be busy at times, so be patient. Has most things you will want, plus it's much better to support local businesses than the big chains. Alwsys gad good service from them
