As out of this world, totally unbelievable, if you like hiking up while discovering step by step the amazing views from the bottom such a small lakes and wild flowers around to the top and finally the spectacular Fyrish Monument. It worth all your tiredness and sweat. This place should be in one of your top list of wishes to do.
A great walk with amazing views at the top. Definitely worth the trek. The trip took about 2 hours in total, so not too long for a nice walk.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Lovely walk. Went up for the sunrise stunning view. Decent underfoot and obviously some parts quite steep. 30 - 60 mins roughly to get up depending on the person. Car park easily accessible at the bottom.
Beautiful hike. Very worth the 1,5 hour round trip including some time up top. It s not the easiest hike so a bit of fitness or some breaks are required. Views are 100% worth the exertion though.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Absolutely breathtaking view! The hike took about 1.5 hour round trip for us amateurs. But the view at the top was definitely worth the sweat.
Well worth the hike up - took about 45 minutes. Path can be steep in places but it's well maintained and easy to navigate just go straight on! with a decent sized car park. Amazing views from the top!
Absolutely stunning landmark in beautifully sunny Scotland, tucked right in the Highlands. Park up at Fyrish carpark which is a free carpark with ample space. The walk up through the beautiful forest with stunning views all the way up is just sublime. It’s a steep walk with a knotted rooted pathway so only for the steady on their feet.. it’s a time consuming walk needing a few pit stops to take in the view and rest your legs but most able walkers would be comfortable with the challenge.. plenty of little legs making their way up but just allow enough time. Our family took a good hour to walk up and a brisk 40 minute walk down. It’s beautiful up too with breathtaking views and the monument itself is impressive and imposing. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in that neck of the woods.
I may be slightly biased since can see this fro the garden, but the best place to be is in the top at the monument looking over the stunning views! It's a lovely walk or challenging bike ride from either side, but main footpath is the Jubilee path. Publicly assessable, but quite a steep walk so some level of fitness required. Would not imagine route is suitable for push chairs or wheelchairs.
Moderate hike! Lots of flies so be prepared. Gentle at the start and an incline to the top after the bridge 15mins or so. Overall hike at a slow pace can take up to 2 hours to and fro
Awesome hike hour up 45mins down with great paths, loch, heather and blaeberries. Best views of Cromarty Firth and stunning monument. Well sheltered most of the way.
