Fulwell is a basic South Western Railway two platform suburban station. It is in a cutting therefore access to platforms is only by staircase from the cross bridge. There are no facilities for travellers with disabilities in terms of access. There is one shelter on each platform, very similar to a bus shelter so limited shelter if it is raining.nThe booking office is still open in the morning 06.40 to 11.00, but sometimes closed due to staff shortage. There are no toilets. The service is to and from Waterloo and Shepperton with a base service of two trains per hour in each direction one per hour on Sundays supplemented by extra trains in the peak hours via Richmond. Journey time to Waterloo is usually 40 to 45 minutes via Kingston and Wimbledon. The customer information systems are usually reliable and give standard information on departures and notice of any delays. It has bus connections but these are at least a 10 minute walk from the station.
Just an average station located in an almost hidden location in the Hampton/Fulwell area, down a path just behind the bus garage. Ticket machines and a ticket office is provided but no step free access to either of the platforms, which is annoying.nnPlatforms have limited shelter and seating and other facilities are also lacking, to little surprise. Trains usually stop every half hour and serve the likes of London, Wimbledon, Kingston and Shepperton.
Avoid. Got there, my oyster card didn't work, no one there to assist and had to go back to Teddington. Obviously, in Teddington my oyster card worked perfectly.nnSo very nice they have super old station just to waste your time, with a train once in 30 minutes.
Small station with just 2 platforms, fare zone 6, from where you can get trains to waterloo station center London station near to iconic London eye, Kingston, shepherding, Wimbledon etc.
Platforms both fairly desolate, and not very close to the street. Used to flood regularly every winter, and still does on occasion, despite several major works projects over the years.
