I spoke to the manager after I discovered that this business uses less than 1 teaspoon of whey protein in all their "protein" shakes and smoothies. The manager admitted that it was not fair to advertise that the products are using why protein when they are essentially MICRODOSING the whey, so less than 2 grams per dose. I think it's a disgraceful way to cut corners and costs when a shake costs £5 to £6. A full scoop 20 grams of protein costs pennies when purchased in a tub so the business is simply robbing the consumers. And to the business: don't think the consumers aren't paying attention! We watch what your staff do behind the counter and we can see if you are using fresh versus frozen ingredients. Think you can get away with using frozen sugar filled fruit versus fresh blended? Think again. We are on to you and demand better.
Young man working on Friday looked like he rolled out of bed and into a vat of grease and came into work with a sour attitude and what he slept in. Having worked in the service industry many years myself I don’t expect saccharin service but I’ve never encountered someone attempting to take my order without uttering one single word. I’m sure this place relies on unsuspecting cruise passengers and not locals or repeat customers.
This was our “to go” spot for juices in Southampton. Staff are amazing. They take in large amounts of orders queue can be quite long at times and 3-4 staff try to accommodate everyones order just in time. The juices are delicious and fresh. Keep up the good work!! Thanks
I’m leaving this as a review of the workplace, as a former member of staff. Firstly, you’re expected to know everything immediately. I even made flash cards and revised the drinks and ingredients, and I still was made to feel inadequate. You have to learn on the job, they don’t really give you a crash course on how to do everything and learning how to clean complicated juicing machinery while serving people during your first shifts is very stressful. One example of the complete lack of training is on my first shift the manager told me to “skim” over the manual, which has all of the important information in it, then whited out a former employee’s name, replacing it with my name, on a quiz that was important for me to pass and was vital to my training. I never got to properly look at any proper documents or do any online training or quizzes. They describe themselves as a family, which is already a red flag, and it fit the bill of all those stereotypes really, luring you into a false sense of comfort when they don’t care about your well-being at all. If you have any form of disability DO NOT apply. I wasn’t given any accommodations and it’s not just management that don’t care, the environment that’s been fostered there leads to hostility between colleagues. I had to deal with harassment and discrimination from coworkers one even calling me “weak” because of my disability and management not only refused to do anything about it, but because I was still in my probation period, but they fired me after I lodged a complaint. I was let go for being unsuitable for the role when in contract is has a section about equal opportunities. It is strange to me that this company does not care about the mental health of their employees. A lot of this hostility is present because they’re ridiculously understaffed so we had to work more than our contracted hours and due to us being on minimum wage, it lead to bitterness among us about pay disparity and some coworkers were downright rude. The business is a big mess, and the drinks are over priced. Do not work here for your own sanity.
Just the best place to have an enjoyable drink and boost your energy with the best service and best taste of fruits ... staff is very welcoming and always serve you with a smile in there faces . Even when i have a bad day they make me forget about the problems and they are very supportive... they make me feel like familly when im there ! I have no complaints at all ! You are the best people in the all Westquay ! Keep going with the amazing work you do ! All the best !
Poor quality. Pathetic service. Poor taste. The guys today at the counter were super rude and took my order wrong. I had to unnecessarily pay extra because the lady at the till took my order wrong. On top of it the taste is below average. Waste of money and time.

Just picked up my smoothie after waiting 15-20 min being pregnant while other 4-5 customers got theirs ordering way after me. No apology, just gave me dirty looks. 4 people working, chatting and can't make orders in time. DISGRACEFUL SERVICE!!!!
The staff is the best and so friendly, they make the best smoothies out there , I wouldn’t go anywhere else , fuel Southampton is the best
If you're looking for juice!!! Don't just leave!!! Doesn't have to be tropical packed or vegan inspired!!! I tried a small strawberry and mango... I think it was!!!???!!! Exactly when I was thirsty for that!!! It didn't gross me out!!! Maybe a large would of provoked something else tummy wise!!!???!!! Two ladies behind a smallish bar counter in the middle of busy shoppers still felt more discreet than annoying!!!
