About

Friezeland pools are a set of well established fishing lakes in the heart of the midlands.

Story

All rod holders have to hold a fishing licence.
Maximum 2 rods per angler.
Each angler is required to have own landing net, and carp unhooking mat,
No bait boats allowed.
Please be courteous to our bailiff.

STRICTLY BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY! No micro barbs or snapped off barbs. Maximum hook size 6.
Maximum line 15lb, recommended minimum of 6lb, with braid to be used only on the hook length.
No Tiger nuts, No Boillies and No Hemp
Floating baits are only permitted with constant vigilance to wildlife.
Please do not leave your rods unattended, or leave your peg with any fish caught. Fish should be reintroduced into the lake within 5 minutes of landing. (No sacking or keep nets allowed).

ANY ONE CAUGHT TAKING FISH WILL BE PROSECUTED

Drove 2 hours to ensure we were there before 7 as our team of 4 anglers were not allowed to book pegs. We arrived 20 minutes early to find multiple people with bivvys already set up even though it says no night fishing and the venue opens at 7 completely disappointed. The place could do with some maintenance too, 100% will not be back. Also this place has a tendency to not answer the phone… utterly disappointed!
Fantastic day fishing. Pools are well stocked with good quality fish. Toilet facilities too which you don't get at many other places! They'll even get you a hot batch if you want one. Definitely going back

Loved fishing here tonight. Only fished for 3 and a half hours and I had 13 good sized carp. Very friendly staff and other fishers very friendly!
Had a really good day I fished the original friezeland pool, I had 37 fish but nothing over 7 pound. Next time I will try one of the other ponds on site as the have the bigger weights.
Clean and tidy and well run, natural pegs which was nice. Food delivered to peg. Good fishing lots of options for beginners through to bivvy divvys.
Beautiful place to fish with lovely views and friendly staff to. if I had one criticism it’s the hot food you buy it’s a bit expensive for the size of portion you get, I paid £3.70 for a tiny Sausage & egg bap, I’ve heard a few anglers say the same, shame really because I won’t but one again I’ll bring my own.. please increase your portion size and you’ll sell a lot more.. but the fishing is amazing.. we’ll recommend
It is a nice place to spend time with family, anyone can catch a fish there even if you have never been doing it before
Great little fishery have tried pams and the match lake had about 10-15 fish in both lakes when I have been. Deffo give it a go if you want a quick bend in the rod but you won’t be chucking far as the lake are fairly small
Bailiff is brilliant and polite but whenever trying to book anything through the phone when you get through to the office they seem very arrogant and don’t want to help you out. Turned up once after calling about a night fish they said I couldn’t so we didn’t bring the night kit. We got there and the bailiff said of course you can night fish a problem, just seems whenever you try to book something with your them they can’t be bothered to sort you out. Tried calling multiple times today and left voicemails can’t be bothered to call back.
