Called in for Sunday fish n Chips on way home from a visit to peace hall Halifax. Managed to get parked right outside their door which was a bonus. Got fish n chips for the two of us. As there is a wait for freshly cooked fish I waited in the car. The young girl brought our meals out to the car, which I thought was a nice touch. The meal was cooked well - especially the fish, there was plenty, and all cooked in dripping. It certainly hit the spot for us as it was just what we wanted and expected. Well done Friendly Fisheries, if we’re passing again we would pop in.
the tastiest fish and chips on the valley , the portions are very large . the fish is haddock so expect that to be reflected in the price which is very reasonable due to the portion size
Fantastic fish and chips, even though I only had chips, and the portion of large chips is big, which is great, because in most places, a large is a small, and a small is one chip. Definitely be visiting again if I pass through.
Best fish and chips - I have ever had. Now second time. Curry sauce was the nuts too!! Beef dripping batter. Yum!

Beautiful fish and chips, both items were great quality and tasted fresh, not overdone or undercooked but just right, bread was also really good quality and tasted great, really well priced too! Definetly will be returning. Does not take card, will need to being cash!
