Our recent visit to Freshney Place Shopping Centre in Grimsby provided a generally satisfactory shopping experience. The centre offers a substantial size and a commendable variety of popular high street retailers, including Primark, Next, and Marks & Spencer, alongside a selection of independent shops. The convenience of having all these options under one roof is particularly appreciated, especially during inclement weather.nnThe interior of the centre is typically clean and navigable, with ample space that prevents it from feeling overly crowded. While certain areas exhibit a slightly dated appearance and a few vacant units can contribute to a quieter atmosphere in parts, ongoing improvements and redevelopment efforts are underway, which are anticipated to enhance the centre's appeal in due course.nnThe staff in most establishments were observed to be friendly and helpful, facilitating an efficient shopping process. Parking facilities are accessible nearby, though they can become quite occupied during peak hours. Additionally, various cafes and food establishments are available for those wishing to take a break from their shopping.nnIn conclusion, Freshney Place is a valuable local shopping centre boasting a good array of stores. While it may not possess the contemporary feel of some larger city malls, its practicality, convenience, and status as a primary shopping destination in Grimsby remain undeniable.
Still has a couple decent shops but overall is just so outdated. hopefully things change after they’ve built more but we don’t need another parkway cinema! Give us a new company cinema or something better.
Freshney Place Shopping Mall as it is now knows is actually getting much better in recent years. Exciting times ahead it seems. Maybe the Council purchase wasn't such a bad idea, especially if it becomes more profitable. Certainly gives the public more say, you just have to make your voices heard in the right way.
Used to be brilliant however I really feel its gone downhill massively the new market is tiny with very few shops.nIt looks almost like a derelict building inside apart from the odd shop such as primark. Disappointing and yet they are building another cinema?. Baffles me but yes not very ideal for shopping anymore get more going out of town.
Currently there isn't much here due to half the shopping centre being knocked down and renovated. One good thing is parking isn't too expensive so if you're only in town for a hour it'll only cost £1 or you can park on a residential road for a hour for free if you're quickly popping into town for something.
