produce is kept on display till rotten so you may pick up something that will make you ill. prices are sometimes double what they are in other shops although quality isn’t even as good, it makes no sense how these types of stores are still open

First time here and have been overcharged for the weight of a papaya. Weighed once I got home. Might need to get your scales checked. Treat your customers right, don’t rip off and you won’t have issues! Avoid.
Overpriced for questionable quality produce at best, bin diving quality at worse. Furthermore, the receipt is not itemised, so it is impossible to know whether you've been overtly ripped off or not. Buy your produce elsewhere, would be my honest recommendation.
Love this shop! Great variety of both fresh produce and other food items as well. The gentlemen who work there are helpful and polite.
£35 per kilo for scotch bonnet chillies and jalapeños chillies? Walk down the road to withington for less than half the price. Jalapeños is worth less than £10 a kilo , scotch bonnet? Maybe £15 a kilo. Disgusting prices to charge 35 quid. A joke. It’s literally over twice the price. LITERALLY My only advice is to walk 10 mins down the road to withington fruit and veg shop for same quality but half the price.
Gave them a Scottish £10 and the response was "What the hell is this?". Is this how you talk to a customer? It is quite rude. Been there quite often and won't return. Disappointed
i try to support local shops but these are extortionate! herbs and spices usually out of date are double the price of the exact same product in tesco or even a normal corner shop. I asked why so dear once to be told 'its didsbury what do you expect' so prepare to be ripped off if shopping there. Plus the fruit and veg are always off
Such friendly staff! They helped with everything I needed, sorted fresh produce for me and a last minute Christmas tree after an unexpected change of plans, all for a fantastic price. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Misled us into buying ordinary plums when we asked for Victoria plums. This is what £21 gets you: 8 regular plums, 1 aubergine, 1 potato, 1 parsnip, 1 garlic, 3 onions, 5 apples, 4 flat mushrooms and 2 packets of curry leaves.
