The best lamb I ate in my life! Friendly staff, nice place. But I think the lady got confused when I paid the bill in euro... gave me change unless... no problem. I hope to come back and enjoy the tasty food again!
The wife and me called in by chance without booking. The very friendly staff got us a table right away. We were served very quickly and ordered the steak special as recommended by the waitress... an excellent choice. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. We live in Belfast but I will be back there again, thank you to all the staff we enjoyed the whole experience. Parking: We parked right outside, brilliant.
The recent investment in the opening of the lounge area, adds greatly to the comfort and hospitality offered. Best whiskey choice in the area and consistently great food make this a must for private dining, social business meals. Relaxed welcoming atmosphere makes for a great occasion, no matter the reason. Don't take my word for it, try yourself and enjoy.
Staff are friendly and attentive, the restaurant is clean and modern. We had the Thursday steak night deal which is good value for money but the steak was poor quality. The pepper sauce if very very mild and no taste of it. Chips are big but a bit hard. The complimentary wheaten bread at start was delicious.
Both staff and food are impeccable. Waiting staff are so friendly, courteous, hard working and so very tentative. Haven't had a bad meal and steaks are always cooked to perfection.Food: 5/5
This place is amazing! I was recommended here by a friend and I was not disappointed. Friendly environment and staff. Food is exceptional and the steaks are out of this world. Prices are very reasonably but for the meal I got, it didn't matter what the price was. Could not highly recommend enough.
Sometimes it is simply lovely to go into an atmosphere where you have never been before and where there is an instant connection with the staff and food experience Have to thank Paula for taking my booking on messenger.. She is a professional lady even introduced herself to me on arrival thank you to the two girls that served us your chat, smiles and service are top notch bringing out amazing HOT TASTY FOOD it was great to be able to support our local cuisine and we will definitely be back
Not impressed with the porterhouse steak as in it wasn't a porterhouse, in no way was it a 20oz steakmore like a 12oz thin, very thin, for what you pay its very over priced, this used to be a great place to eat but letting standards slip which is sad to see. Staff very friendly and nice atmosphere but left feeling like i was getting ripped off.
Always a pleasure to eat at courtneys steakhouse! Staff are always more than willing to make your experience the best it could be, manageress Paula is a gem too! Defo 10/10 and will be back again!Food: 5/5
I had 2 dogs with me so finding somewhere to sit outside in newry is not easy. My first time here and they are very experienced in serving food. The place was spotless. The food hot, tasty and delivered quickly. Condiments clean and well stocked. But the star of the show was the incredibly friendly, efficient and accommodating waitress. She saw I had the dogs and immediately took me a menu, brought all the accoutrements outside to me and informed me my food would not be long. Her service was excellent and it shows she has been doing if for some time and loves it. All done with a smile and graciousness. Thank you. We will be back.
