Ordered a chocolate celebration cake the large little green one and it was great. The cake was the perfect size 10 inch I think and went down a treat. Will definitely be ordering again!
Normally would recommend French Village bakery as over last 4/5 Years I’ve bought at least three cakes per year for birthdays to anniversaries. This morning Wed 21st Sept 22 I went on their website as usual, placed and paid for a cake daughters engagement only to get a call from a very polite lady at 1520 hrs to say that due to a computer glitch with their website, they were over booked and would be unable to fill the order. I found this strange but I did leave it late to order. If indeed they had a soft ware problem then all effort should be made to accommodate a customer. I don’t think I’ll be using French Village Bakery in the future, poor effort all round.
Top class 10-inch cake baked and prepared to specification wonderfully. A pleasure to work with the bakers at French Village ... true partners with the customer. Crowd of twelve munched the cake over two days.
Got a 50th Birthday cake made from French Village. The cake looked fantastic and tasted delicious. Everybody commented on how lovely it looked & tasted. Would highly recommend
French Village catered our wedding at the Empire Belfast. The food was incredible! How they produced such a high standard of food with the limited facilities at the venue is unbelievable. All of our friends and family are still raving about it. They also made our wedding cakes, we both love cake and at the stage when we met with FV we hadn't thought about center pieces so came up with the idea of cakes as center pieces which could then be served as part of the dessert. The cakes were delicious and was such a fun idea! The level of service and attention to detail was second to none. Thanks to all of the team for making our day so memorable!
Absolutely Zero Star for this service. I have ordered one Birthday Cake for my boyfriend to pickup. Before he goes to pickup the cake, he have called the store and asked , could he come. The girl in the telephone said that, he can come annytime, the cake is already. But when he come, she don’t give the cake, and said the Time for picking up 3:00 pm . What ist for a terrible service. No more again!!

Partner had a cake made for my birthday - banana salted caramel. Not a great experience - banana flavour was very fake / synthetic tasting. The icing was so sickly sweet. The sponge itself was very dry.
Ordered the lemon gateau for a birthday party and everyone said it was delicious. I found the staff were exceptionally friendly too. They also have a useful website so very satisfied all round and will use again.
I ordered a cake for a 90th birthday and it was really excellent. Everyone at the party remarked how delicious and moist it was and of course it looked great too. I would definitely order again.
